Review 1 of 145

Price Paid:  $18000.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
1999 olds cutluss gls

Strengths:
Lots of Gadgets. AC, CD, cassette, pwr doors, pwr windows, leather (cheap), Keyless entry. Cost is down for the amenities.

Weaknesses:
Power steering went out twice on my wife in rush hour traffic in the first 6,000 miles of use. Battery had major corrosive problem melted the terminal. Oldsmobile customer care is rude. Dealerships don't care after the car is sold. The worst car I have ever owned.

Summary:
The only good thing about this car is the toys. I will never buy another GM product again. I am so glad I finally got rid of it. If you buy one I hope you get better service out of it than I did.

Any car is better. I would rather buy a Geo.

Nice cd system, seating is so so, not that comfortable, trunk nice space.

Review 4 of 145

Price Paid:  $22.00 from Classsic Olds, Naple

Year / Model Reviewed:
1998 Olds Cutlass GLS 3.1L V-6

Strengths:
Nice interoir, good handeling, very dependable, economic, it''s pretty much all good.

Weaknesses:
No seperate compartment for the cigarette ash tray it has a removeable cup ashtray that fits into a cup holder below the gear shifter. leather seats wear easy, or was I just hard on them?

Summary:
Great car, I have''nt had too many problems with it. Quick on the go, good handling. The oly touble Ive has is: I''ve replaced teh Coolant level sensor abour 4 times and it needs it again. I think my brake calipers are sticking, reson being, Ive gone through about 3 sets of breaks in the past year and Im too cheap to get them fixed. And I thin I have a leak in my head gasket. My caw was bought new in Feb 1998 and Ive had it since. It now has about 70K miles on it and it runs great other than the troubles I mentioned. I''d recommend this car to anyone.

Review 5 of 145

Price Paid:  $9999.00 from dickinson buick

Strengths:
the inside is very nice

Weaknesses:
the car stalls out anytime/place. the a/c only works half the time.

Summary:
I do have problems with my car. It stalls often, mostly when I stop and then takeoff. it is a safety hazard. I have not had any luck with my oldsmobile dealership and have seen that the NHTSA thinks that this car is a defect. And I do agree with them. If anyone asks me about this car I will tell them that I feel it is a death trap. I just hope it doesn''t lead to my death. I have an a/c problem and there is a clicking noise that comes from the drivers side tirewell. Never have I had anyone that could help me with this car.
