from Ultimate Electronics Year / Model Reviewed: 2004 CQ-C5410U Strengths: VERRY bright dimable display with 3 position tilt, plenty of pre outs(F/R/S), plays mp3's, 7 band eq, sound quality is awesome! High and low pass filters are adjusted independently from each other. Sub level also adjustable, can even turn the sub off if you want. Weaknesses: Loose face (kinda jiggles), I wish the display was more comprehensive. I want to see the current time, track number, track time AND the song title all at once. This deck doesn't do that.. oh well, that's just nit picky. Honestly, I could do without the motorized face. It's just another thing to break. Summary: This was an upgrade from the CQ-C1300U. I'm a fan of Panasonic so this choice was obvious. I wanted a deck with a built in x-over and mp3 capable. Now I don't have to install an external x-over thank goodness! Right away I noticed that the face was a bit loose in the deck. It moves a little bit when I push buttons. I'll deal with it. Otherwise, this is the first deck I've had with a motorized face. It's taking a bit to get use to the fact that I have to push a button to put IN a cd. But all other motorized face decks are that way. In general, I'm very very satisfied with this deck. Hope it works for a long time! Similar Products Used: CQ-C1300U
