Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $440.00 from ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 T600.4

Strengths:
great sq very clean loud sounding amp, has all gold connectors looks good is very reliable, has been built tough.

Weaknesses:
only paint chips easy, and gets hot if you bridge it and push it hard, can be a bit hard to understand the 3way HP/LP/BP switch.

Summary:
a very nice amp considering the price i got it for, this amp is very good for running splits/speakers but i wouldnt recommend bridging it for subs cause they get hot pretty quick but sq is excellent when i push it to the max.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $260.00 from sound domain

Year / Model Reviewed:
 tantrum 600.4

Strengths:
looks good, ok connections, sounds great when u turn it up loud enough so you dont hear the alternator noise

Weaknesses:
bad design on the dials, gets extremely hot, does not filter out alternator noise at all, used the JL 300.4 in the same setup and get no noise at all, paint chips easily

Summary:
amp gets very hot, too hot to touch for longer than a second, have it running bridged at 2 ohms 300X2. It will cut in and out if you play it at full volume for over an hour. dials for setting the high pass low pass crossover are very i repeat very confusng. you may thing how could they be confusing somehow they made it so it is. they also have band pass as one of the settings and the amp only works in certain combinations, and if you are using the auxiliary output it makes it even harder setting it, there is no setting for just full bandwith throuput for the auxiliary output
