Review 4 of 8 Year / Model Reviewed: installed on 92 Civic Strengths: All in one, AM/FM, CD, 45W output, easy to install, illuminates nicely at night, and cheap price. Weaknesses: have to get used to the new layout, I mean I'm used to 'dial' controls as older Pioneers and Sony had. If you lend your car to someone else they won't understand how to turn the darn radio on or off. Summary: I paid $140 new at 'Car Toys' in Beaverton. Also looked at DEH-2100 but didn't want the extra cost and work of detaching the face.
Installed into the OEM space with no problem and did it in about 50 minutes myself.
Perfect replacement for my Honda Civic as it is easy to install and relatively inexpensive, I highly recommend it.
It has other features I don't even use; pre-amp output four speaker connection (I only use the front two) Similar Products Used: Sony XR-65 ($360 in 1987) was no comparison as Pioneer is much better. Pioneer KDH's ($240 in 1992) was no comparison as new Pioneer is much better also.
