Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $200.00

Strengths:
Accurate, and overall detailed and pleasant sound (provided you keep the tweeters on the -3 setting, and a little away from your ears.) Good power handling, and overall excellent performance when coupled with a subwoofer

Weaknesses:
Can be a bit harsh with some music, the quality of the recording also matters. Weak bass below around 70hz, though very accurate and smooth sounding everywhere else.

Summary:
Harsh until these are broken in, they sound better and better as the first few weeks go by. Lacking midbass, these will still sound awesome with an accurate subwoofer that plays smoothly up to around 80hz. The more that I listen to them, the more detailed and sweet they sound. Once you get used to the brightness it is hard to go back. Overall, a very accurate sounding set for the money. Also, power handling seems to be underrated, as mine have taken 100RMS from a Alpine V12 for years with no complaints. Overall, great bang for the buck

Similar Products Used:
Alpine componants, infinity Kappa, Other pionner coaxials
