Review 1 of 5

Price Paid:  $49.00 from www.onlinecarstereo.

Strengths:
BASS, CLEARITY, ability to take the abuse i put them thru.

Weaknesses:
none

Summary:
I am glad to say that I absolutely love these speakers. I thought that they were actually Absolute USA speakers, but it turns out that Pioneer sold the model design to other companies and it turns out that Absolute USA happened to be the one I stumbled over. These are extra clear, have pounding bass, have extremely nice highs... the list goes on

Review 2 of 5

Price Paid:  $120.00 from The Electronics Stro

Year / Model Reviewed:
2002 TS-A6995

Strengths:
Value for money.

Weaknesses:
None

Summary:
I have a pair of these installed on the rear deck of my 1987 Mazda323 with a Pioneer DEH-P630 head unit and an Orion Cobalt CS200.4 amplifier. All I will say is that they sound AWESOME. Anyone who knows the CS200.4 can tell you that this amp really puts put and these 6X9s can take it without fuss. At first I was skeptical about putting this much power on them, but as soon as I felt they were broken in enough, I started increasing the amount of juice I fed them. To my surprise, I am yet to hear them complain. Don't use the sound focus equalizer in the head unit at high volume though, I don't think they were built to handle THAT amount of low frequency boost. Other than that they absolutely ROCK; solid bass with crystal clear highs, I'm talking the entire drum kit, strings, horns, vocals everything. Weather you're into Rock (like me) Rap, Hip Hop, Classical, Latin, anything these speakers won't disappoint you.

Review 3 of 5

Price Paid:  $120.00 from RAD Audio

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002

Strengths:
Very classy midrange and treble. Capable with a wide range of music. Excellent value for money.

Weaknesses:
If bass is your primary objective there may be others, but these still won't dissapoint.

Summary:
I was have always been a fan of pioneer 6X9's because of their awesome quality. My first pair were 180W, and I loved them. These babies crank out 300W of pure class. There is nothing to touch it for its price(I paid R1200 brand new where i live in South Africa - that's about $120). There might be some that deliver more bass but these are really clear. But thats not to say that they are quiet in that department. I used a HART HT600-4 amp to power them, using 2 of the channels. Just feed them with a nice clean amp and you'll be set!

D@MN, these things scream. I just bought boxes for them and hooked em up to my house amp to see what they could really do. I was amazed. Best 6x9s out. period. check ebay, less than $65!!! I know people who have paid over 200 for these

Review 5 of 5

Price Paid:  $250.00 from The Good Guys

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001/TSA-6995

Strengths:
Skin ripping sound, with killer bass, mids, and highs. An all-in-one package for a decent price.

Weaknesses:
Mounting depth

Summary:
These things rock. They have got to be the most powereful 6x9''s. My T-bird just pounds. My friends thought I had at least an 8" sub, with jsut a pair of these. The magnets for these compared to a standard 6x9 are massive. Make sure you have enough depth for these babies

Similar Products Used:
JBL, Prestige, Kenwood, and nothing compared to the Pioneer''s
