Pirelli P-Zero Asimmetrico

Summary:
I've got them on my UK Spec 2000 Subaru Impreza GT Turbo - size 205/45R17 and they are just great. On a new, smooth, road the traction and handling is just incredibly good. But on wet... with too much accelerator, the car just leaves standing, all four wheels spinning...

I'm gonna go for Bridgestone S02PP next, even though I recommend PZeros for anyone's first tyres in a fast car, since they take care you realize what's happening before something bad happens, and they're as good as dry-season tyres as I can imagine.

Five stars, if you live in some place where it doesn't rain often. I have to reduce one star because it rains where I live.

Strengths:
- Lateral traction on dry surface is great.
- Great tyre for aggressive but somewhat novice drivers, since they don't lose traction suddenly, which leads into...
- No surprises = no (extra) crashes.

Weaknesses:
Poor performance on wet surface.

Summary:
I paid $265 (245/40/18 Z-rated) for shipment to my car dealer who installed them when I bought my car. I highly recommend these tires but only to someone who is a good driver as the tires will not squeal until nearly too late. I have a 3000GT VR-4 which is 4,000 pounds but an all-wheel drive (AWD) car so these tires are a perfect match since any sliding of the rear end can be corrected by accelerating back into the turn. Truly a thrill to experience.

Strengths:
Cornering ability. The dual tread accels at handling sweeping turns as well as aggressive cornering.

Weaknesses:
The only weakness is that any audible sound (i.e. squealing) is not heard until the tires are about to lose traction (except in very sharp hairpin corners).

Summary:
These tires are good if you need a maximum performaance tire. They came standard on my Volvo T-5R. The overall wear of these tires is very poor and they need to be replaced often. But this is the price you pay for getting the stickiest tires on the road. These tires also have a tendency to "bubble" very easily under hard cornering forces. I have had numerous tires which formed bubbles in the side wall and needed to be replaced. I also had one tire pop (the only flat tire of my life) and it actually came off of the rim. The tire size which I am using are 205-45-ZR17's all around. Only buy these tires if you have a car that needs them.

Strengths:
Very good dry traction.

Weaknesses:
Horrible in any form of wet weather. Goes no where in the snow (its not made for that). Rather loud. Horrible wear, need to be replaced often.

Summary:
I'm on my second set of P-Zeros on my Acura Integra GS-R. I got over 30k miles on my 1st set, which is a lot more than I expected. Dry traction is simply amazing, especially compared to the stock Michelin XGTs the car came with. Ride is a little harder than normal, but this tire is not designed for comfort. If you're looking for a great, high-performance tire, you wont go wrong with the P-Zero Asy. Just don't expect to use them in the cold or snow. The price was certainly right, too, at $112/tire (205/50-15) from the Tire Rack.

Strengths:
Incredible dry traction, good wear, progressive limits.

Weaknesses:
Horrible in wet & when cold. Forget about snow!

Summary:
I have it on my Porsche 911 size 205/55ZR-17 front and 255/40-ZR17 rear.
you can corner fast without fear of losing it. Will give you audio warning before the front tire gave away.
Performs very bad in wet weather, easy to hydroplane even at regular highway speed.
Brigestone S-02 seem to have better performance for my car.

Strengths:
asymmetrical design looks cool

Weaknesses:
price,wet weather handling
