Price Paid:  $147.00 from eBay

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 PLA2470

Summary:
I bought this amplifier for my computer's stereo system. After ordering it, I wasn't too sure since everybody was assuring me I'd wasted my money on a POS amplifier. When it came in along with 2 PLW10BL subs I was thouroughly impressed. During testing, it could easily push enough power to blow an old Kicker CompVR speaker. It doesn't get very warm except during hard cranking and sounds very clean--I was impressed. May be a slightly better value for the money, but you'd be hard pressed to find it.

Strengths:
Very clean output Handles wide voltage range Reliable ( > 4 months powered on time ) Cheap and unknown

Weaknesses:
No subsonic filter if that's important to you Only 4 ohm loads bridged
