Price Paid:  $8.00 from OGRacing.com

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2000 Impreza RS

Summary:
Although the stock fluids weren't that bad, it gave the shifter a notchy feel. I actually used the lightweight shockproof fluid, since the Heavyweight was more focused on tranny grip, not tranny life. My stock tranny has no problems with it, I just wanted a better feel and tranny life. This is a GL-5 oil (the MT-90 fluid is a GL-4). Well, after I put this in, almost instantly, I can feel my shifting feeling smoother. A lot smoother, like a new tranny. It's designed for hard use (occasional street racing/spirited driving). I feel a lot more secure with this stuff in my tranny. And for the record, I have the 75w90ns for my rear differential. I respect all of Redline's products.

Strengths:
Smoother shifting; both up and down, will allow the tranny longer life if not driven hard all the time.

Weaknesses:
Ugly sea green color No other noticed weaknesses

Similar Products Used:
Redline MT-90 *barf* Stock (no clue what brand they use)
