POWERFULL! low destortion rate
Weakness:
run to hot, needs all the air you can give it. so keep the seat down! i'm running 2 TXX-AudioPipe 15's @2,000 watts a piece. they are ran 2 ohm stereo. they're not broke in yet so the amp. isn't turned up and it still flex's the front windshield!can't wait for when they break in so i can shove the full 1'600 watts to them! but gotta be easy on them... for now. extremely powerful, reliable, & heavy

not 1 ohm stable i purchased this amp for $150 from my friend that had some cheap woofers hooked up to it, and he thought that it was the amp that was lacking power..he told me that he was selling it, and i hopped on the offer the next day (he didnt know what he had)..the amp was abused & had some burnt resistors that i easily repaired...once i fixed up the amp i bought a 12" power hx2 and built a ported enclosure...OMG this amp smashes. i have it wired @ 2 ohms..and im louder than anyone at my school....i have to be careful not to shatter my windows in the winter..or anyone elses for that matter Similar Products Used: none...they dont make em like this anymore |

the more power given the more bass received

none the RF power 1000a2 is by far the best amp i have used and the most powerful. this amp has killed 3 L7 12" solobarics,2 audiobahn 15" 1200 rms ea, and 3 W7's. this amp is a killer. the more power you feed it the more bass you get. i recommend this amp over all others even the new RF bd 1000 & 1500. i currently have running 3 15" audiobahn's at 1200 rms ea, and this amp is shaking off everything in my 1999 chevy tahoe. recently put in a yellow top optima & a red top optima w/ isolator and it is getting rediculous,#1 amp in my book. Remote bass control Produces extreme watts without bridging
Weakness:
Gets warmed up after playing awhile I just bought the amp awhile back from a friend who does competition. This Amp pushes the hell out of my 15" Audiobahn AW1500Q sub. Gains are all up on amp, then halfway on remote control (easier to change gain on remote, than jackin around in the trunk), bass down on cd player. Maybe more power than what I need for driving use. I would prob sell the amp for what I got into it, for something more practical. These amps are used for Competition.! Similar Products Used: Memphis 1000D, only get the Wattage at 1ohm. |

its rated at 1000 watts. no no no. the actual certificate in the box said 1,648watts rms @ 2 ohms ! ahhhhhh!
Weakness:
Almost too powerful. Easy to loose end caps. This amp is the best simply, will not buy any other. It was easy and clean to install. I hit 144.2 db w/ a JL Audio 18w3 in a SEALED box in the trunk of a dodge neon. This is the first amp i have owned, and it brought home the first place trophy @ crutchfields annual bass-off, which was my first competition. i must say this amp is number 1. see it on my page. http://www.sounddomain.com/id/justin_s Similar Products Used: haven't seen any comparable |

none to my knowledge i have 2 of these amps. the make my one sub slam to it hardest points. I was metered at a 154.8 with the sub and 2 amps in a civic. i love the amp. Similar Products Used: crossfire 1000d's not enough power |

None to note. I have the Power 1000 a2, (older style), pushing two Kicker L7 12's. I can sum it all up by saying the amp is the best I've ever used. Good luck trying to listen to someone trying to talk or looking out the rearview mirror. Similar Products Used: None can compare. |

Massive power output!!
Weakness:
This amp? There are none I had actually purchased this amp (the 1100a2, it's the same amp as the 1000.2, don't let anyone tell you otherwise) 2 years ago and only owned it for about 3 weeks before it got stollen. I had it running 4 Punch HX2 12's at 2 Ohms mono. This setup sounded great but it never really had a chance to get broke in. But it pushed the hell out of those 4 12's. I powered a pair of the old stuff pwr 812 from rockford and I can''''t hardly see my rear view mirror when its on.....this amp is one of the best outthere.....get one if u can .....
