Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $350.00 from Audio SA

Year / Model Reviewed:
 RFX8310

Summary:
You cannot imagine the difference in sound that i experienced when replaced the stock unit of my GTI VR6 with the Rockford CD Receiver, using the original speakers of the car. Then i added a pair of 6X9 Eclipse`s and belive me, it sounds excelent. Deep bass, good sound quality and large amount of power.

Strengths:
One of the most powerfull CD Receivers i know (25X4 RMS), Very good quality of materials, dont feel cheap, very easy to use, excelent sound quality, great display because direct sun light affect it very little.

Weaknesses:
Probably it skeeps a little more than i expected when buying, but i think it is related with the very hard suspension/low profile tires that i have in my car. Another thing is that the time appears in the display by default take it out, just if you press the display button, you can see the functions in the display for 5 seconds and then the time appears again.

Similar Products Used:
I`ve heard thousands of Pioneers and all sound like a box of shoes compared to this Rockford unit. I owned two Sony`s but they felt cheap, no good quality, poor sound, etc.
