Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $30.00 from crutchfield

Summary:
I installed a set of these in my dash and the Fosgate head unit I was using blew them in less than a month. No power handling here. I guess I should have been more careful about the 15 watt rms.

Strengths:
Built to handle alot of sun. Good treble response when working.

Weaknesses:
Not able to handle any power.

Similar Products Used:
Pioneer 3 1/2 much better sound and quality.

Review 2 of 2

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2000

Summary:
I think these speakers are a great option if you are only planning to use head unit power to run them. I don't recommend using these with a separate amp, they can't handle the power. If you buy these, make sure to use a bass cap also.

Strengths:
Impressive highs, nice and clear sounding for the price. Other similar speakers in this price range and even more slightly more expensive sounded nowhere near as good.

Weaknesses:
I was running them from an ADS 40X2RMS amp, and one of the tweeters blew on the second day I had them in the car. Power handling is pitiful. No bass response, but that's expected from this size speaker.

Similar Products Used:
Boston Acoustics cx4-The Rockfords rivaled these with clear highs, but I think the ferrofluid cooling in the BA's helps them withstand more power. Rockfords were cheaper price.
