Review 1 of 11

Price Paid:  $100.00 from c###### Ci%%

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2000

Summary:
These are budget subs but nobody should own these. Most people buy these becuase they cant afford better. But either a Rockford HE or Kicker comp will put these to shame at the same price level. Look elsewheer

Strengths:
its cheap and looks good

Weaknesses:
its a budget sub. Sony suckers people into buying it by making them look good and there popular name

about everything

I bought this Sub for my Infinti a year ago. They pump good until you crank up the bass. Doesnt give enough pounding bass, but its pretty strong. Probably good for the money but i wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

Strengths:
Can take a beating, Looks good

Weaknesses:
Distorted Bass

Similar Products Used:
Couldnt tell you, They are the worst speakers i had comparing them to my AudioBahns.

Review 4 of 11

Price Paid:  $50.00 from visions

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1999

Summary:
I think that these subs are decent. I have two of them in my car receiving 150Wrms from Kenwood monos. They have very good SQ but the don''t boom. Maybe it''s the enclosure, it''s a sealed unit with 0.7 cuft per sub. They hit hard enough to hear...but not to feel. I''m scaping this system, my gains were cranked and my sweet components up front and back are drowing them out. They''re alright for the price..that''s it.

Strengths:
SQ is good, $$$ ratio is decent

Weaknesses:
low RMS, can''t pound,

Similar Products Used:
none

Review 5 of 11

Price Paid:  $88.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 97 Dakota Regular Cab V-8

Summary:
i have had these for less than a week in TRUCK BOXES and they make me wonder if I have TOO much bass. These things still amaze me every time I play them. The second day I had them, I played them for less than an hour and they made me sick. (These things are right behind my seats hooked to the Xplod 760watt 2-channel!) They never distort and they are amazing for the price! If you are looking to buy some, I found them for $85 for the pair at 800electronics.com! Don't pass it up!

Strengths:
Excellent looks, crystal clear, VERY LOUD in my application, excellent response

Weaknesses:
ummm...hook them up correctly behind your seats and you may experience loose stools and ringing ears

Similar Products Used:
i used to have 2 MTX 10's and a alpine flex2 amp...this is 10x better
