Price Paid:  $165.00 from etronics

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2003/Soundstream Rubicon 12"

Summary:
I absolutely love this woofer. I have one 12' Rubicon sub powered by my Ghostface panasonic deck and a JBL 600/1 amplifier. I have my amps gain turned up 3/4 of the way and this sub pounds out the lowest lows I could throw at it with no distortion. By the way this sub also has the best sound quality I have ever heard, far better than the 2 12" JL W3's I used to own until they got stollen.

Strengths:
Gets really low and can play for a long time at high levels.

Weaknesses:
Doesn't pick up Bass over 80Hz very well, but it's a subwoofer so that's ok. May require a little adjustment with your eq or crossovers to get that midrange bass through your drrivers or woofer.
