Review 1 of 1

Price Paid:  $600.00 from Webers T.V.

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 Tarantula

Summary:
The 15 inch Soundstream Tarantula is a monster of a woofer. It plays very loud and hits very very hard.

Strengths:
Low frequency extension was endless. Basket structure and front cone area is very attractive. These woofers hit way lower than Kove Army's.

Weaknesses:
Horrible , unexcusable customer and technical support of Soundstream. I could not get proper box specs after calling long distance 12 times in two days and over 17 minutes of holding time. When I recieved the woofers, they were two seperate Ohms, a "mistake" on the part of Soundstream. The reason I got rid of them is because of the lack of technical support. The manual and the Sounstream technical support says 3 different specifications on building a vented box. The Soundstream tecnical support lowers the quality of the woofers.
