Summary:
i dont even know where to begin. i guess i will start with build quality. first of all, it weighs so much its hard to pick up. the magnet is 120oz it has kapton voice coil formers aluminum cone bla bla bla. all of this adds up to great bass. this thing is CLEAN and tight and absolutely rumbles and destroys things at low frequencies. its great. im feeding it 600 watts rms from my jbl bp600.1 and it eats it all up. to top it off, my gain is only at 50%. its in a.88 cu ft sealed box and it hammers. louder than my old audiobahn alum 12. that thing was a beast in its own right but the ultimate is better. its a tighter sound than any other sub i have heard. its like the audiobahn but louder and much better performing at the low low frequencies. and for all the mtx and fosgate lovers no i do not mean low frequencies like 35hz, i mean chest pounding low bass like 25hz and below. all in all its great. im very happy with this sub. i would recommend it to sq lovers who also need some spl when the time is right. also you can get this sub from thezeb.com for 159, just call them and ask them to beat sounddomains price. great service and great quality. i got this with a jbl 600 for 431 dollars with a box. cant beat the quality for that price.

Strengths:
high power handling, quick response, clean tight bass and hammering low bass. great overall performer. the spl and sq lovers will be content. works well in a small box for those who need to save space

Weaknesses:
none

Similar Products Used:
audiobahn alum 12, great sub, but not up to ultimate standards, planet audio competition, good sub, but again not an ultimate
