Review 1 of 5

Price Paid:  $129.00 from Crutchfield

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 US600D

Summary:
I have this amp hooked up to one Alpine type-E 10/in. woofer. This amp powers that little sub in a sealed box to impressive levels. One of my friends was shocked when I showed him my trunk and what was in it. Then I told him how little I paid for it, and this was after he told me how he likes my sub better then his two JBL 12's hooked up to an MTX amp. I recomend this amp for smaller bass thogh because of the power rating is a little low for someone listening to bass heavy rap. But for a meatal head like me this amp rocks my car with quick tight, hard hitting bass.

Strengths:
Sound quality, doens't get hot at all, bass level knob, three year warranty, oh yea and the fact I only paid $129 for it

Weaknesses:
I havn't found any thing bad about it yet, but if something happens I will put it up on a review.

Similar Products Used:
Lunar, MTX, RF, Eclipse, JL, all in friends cars that I spent allot of time in

Review 2 of 5

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
I was very suprised at the power this little amp can produce. This amp puts the power it says it does and more. These amps are rated at 12.9, when a normal car produces 14.4 volts. I have 2 kicker comp 12's and it makes them hit hard and very clean. All my friends that get in my SUV for the first time are suprised by how it hits when i show them what it is and how much i paid for it. The best part is, my bass boost is off. For anybody on a tight budget that doesn't have to half the best, but still wants raw power...I would recommend this product to you. It ROCKS!

Strengths:
Produces lots of car shaking power, small amp, doesn't get hot, Very Affordable, does what it says and more.

Weaknesses:
NO Weaknesses!

Sony Xplod 1502X...My US Acoustics amp blows this amp out of the water, and doesn't distort like my sony did.

Review 3 of 5

Price Paid:  $71.00 from eBay

Year / Model Reviewed:
 '00 Rodeo

Summary:
This subtle amplifier can really pack a wallop! I have it powering a single JL Audio 10w3 (2ohms) and the combination is very potent for a "little" 10-incher. The volume is impressive for a modest setup, especially considering it's in a midsize SUV. The amp exhibits nice woofer control, and very little distortion. The beauty of this amp is its Class D configuration which makes it run very cool.... so cool, in fact, I have it tucked stealthily away in my rear fender storage compartment. I would recommend this amp to those who want to enjoy strong lows within the confines of your own vehicle. If you want to piss off the neighbors and damage your hearing, then look elsewhere. Ideal for single 10" and 12" woofers of better quality, 2 ohm load, and 275+ watt power handling.

Strengths:
Remote bass control (if you need it), Class D circutry / Stays very cool, Small footprint, Sound quality, Very affordable

Weaknesses:
No intermediate detents or labels between min and max audio settings makes it difficult to precisely setup. Takes @10 seconds to turn on at startup, this might be limited to mine.

Similar Products Used:
Jensen (glad to move on), Sony (underpowered), Targa (first system, 10+ years ago)

Review 4 of 5

Price Paid:  $160.00 from SoundDomain.com

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001

Summary:
I have this amp powering 2 12" Bazooka's (1204) in a 2cu ft box and it rocks my Xplorer! I got it for 160 and its worth every $. I suggest running 2 12", 2 10" or 1 15". It has 300x1 @2ohms and since its rated at 12.9Volts it will prouduce more Watts when the cars on because it will have more power going 2 it. I like the light (when its dark) stays kool even after 2 hours (the longest ive run it) and it is very small compaired to 2 channel amps. This amp is approx 11" Long and 6" Wide. Fits on the back of my box. Im only 16 and this amp is really afortable without spending a fourtune! Check out my system at: http://www.cardomain.com/id/woodmister

Strengths:
1. Size 2. Cost (But in no way is it TOO cheap like other Brands in the range) 3. Heat efficenty (little heat, D class 90% less) 4. POWER 200x1 @4ohms/300x1 @2ohms

Weaknesses:
1. None

Similar Products Used:
Sony
