Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $269.00 from SoundDomain.com

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002/USX800

Summary:
Wow! I'm using this to power 1 IDQ12 D4.V2 (350 W RMS). I obviously designed the system to potentially add on later. Using a class D amp for a sub is just obvious people. Plenty of good power with high efficiency (low heat). This thing produces fantastic sound and doesn't even think about cutting out when the low gets a hitt'n. Featurewise: remote level setting...nice. The remote potentiometer is enclosed in a metal box. This is an indication of class and high durability. Adjustable low pass crossover and subsonic filter. Large gold plated terminals for 8 Ga wire. Nice, nice, nice. Looks: competition all the way. Blue neon bar across the top. Stainless steel on the sides and no extra cheap looking graphics. Bottom line: show me a better amp for the money, or for twice the money for that matter.

Strengths:
Sound, runs cool (I can't even tell it's on), looks, features

Weaknesses:
None what so ever.

Similar Products Used:
Crunch, Sony
