Review 2 of 5

Price Paid:  $129.00 from Crutchfield

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002 USX4065

Summary:
This amp powers a Rockford 6.5" Fanatic X component set, and a pair of Rockford 6x9's. At normal listening level, a.k.a. loud, there is no distortion, just good clean sound. Current draw is relatively low...the amp has been cranked out to the point where you have audible distortion, and the 20amp in line fuse was fine. The three year warranty, unheard of in this price range, is a strong selling point as well. In the coming weeks, I plan to purchase the USX800D sub amp....we'll see how it does.

Strengths:
Good clean power, low current draw, not an overly large unit, and an affordable price.

Weaknesses:
Crossovers could be a bit better.

Similar Products Used:
MTX, Rockford, Pioneer, Alpine

Strengths:
Crystal clear, never distorts or cuts out.
