Review 1 of 7

Price Paid:  $45.00 from OEM Manuf

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001

Summary:
Sweet Amp, bought it because of its low THD(I found it to be between 0.01% and 0.009% actually).. Great output power, using it to power new Alpine 6x9s and Blaupunkt GT6 6.5 inch splits, buying another to power a Alpine Type-S 10" Sub, Sound quality is great...

Strengths:
Price, THD, Low Pass filter

Weaknesses:
none.

Similar Products Used:
Clarion, Blaupunkt, Alpine... Better than B.P amps, as good as clarion, Alpine just has a fraction over it, but this amp was some $250AUD less...

Review 2 of 7

Price Paid:  $80.00

Summary:
i bought this amp over a kenwood one of lesser output, and for around 30 dollars more. (120 canadian i paid after some bargaining). i am very pleased with it, seems to be an awesome amp for the money. powerful, flexible setup options, gold plated terminals, low distortion rating (0.01%), high/lowpass, bridgeable, 2 ohm stable (in stereo). no complaints at all, and an awesome price, highly recomended.

Strengths:
Flexiblity of setup, quality for price!

Weaknesses:
none.

Similar Products Used:
only ever used pioneer before, this one is more powerful than the pioneer.

Review 3 of 7

Price Paid:  $100.00

Summary:
Overall USacoustics is the best amp for the price. I have the 2050 and the 2080 and they both are great.

Strengths:
It cost me 100 bucks for this amp. It now has a cool neon blue light on it and comes with a 3 year warranty. The amp puts out alot of power and is rated at 12.9v so you know its more accurate then most amps.

Weaknesses:
Only thing is it does not come with that good of mounting kit.

Similar Products Used:
MTX, Kenwood, ALpine

Review 4 of 7

Price Paid:  $100.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 88 Ranger

Summary:
I would recomend this amp to anyone who doesn't want to put a lot of money into their car stereo but still wants great sound. They are also made and engineered in America.

Strengths:
This is a very good amp for the money.

Weaknesses:
The noise that my electrical system puts out is very noticable. Also this is my thrid amp from them because the first one I fried, the second one was defunctional, but the third and last is a winner. I would still consider this company in the future. I am also happy with Crutchfield's return policy.

Similar Products Used:
Rockford Punch 120a (30 X 2) it sounded about as good and almost half the price and with more power.

Review 5 of 7

Summary:
I paid $110 for it from Crutchfield. Very good amp for the money. I have it powering two Kenwood 6x9's and they get loud and clean. The preamp output is very helpful for head units that only have one output and you want to run more than one amp. I would definitely recomend it if you want good quality on tight budget.

Strengths:
Clean power, high pass and low pass crossovers, preamp outputs

Weaknesses:
90 day waranty

Similar Products Used:
never used any others but it compares in specs to Sony's that cost $50-$100 more.
