The 2009 Nissan Xterra is a 4-door, 5-passenger sport-utility, available in 7 trims, ranging from the X 4X2 to the SE 4X4. The Xterra has a 5 Speed Automatic transmission, 4.0-liter V6, 261-horsepower engine, and gets a number of revisions for the new model year, including fresh styling and updated features.

In addition to the new front-end appearance, Xterra gets new wheel designs, new seat materials and colors, and standard roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental air bags with rollover sensor for front and rear-seat outboard occupant head protection.
