Toyota Prius v Wagon Hybrid | EV

Toyota Prius v Wagon Hybrid | EV

DESCRIPTION

Prius V, the second model in an expanded Prius line of hybrids.

The Prius v wagon is a larger version of Toyota's wildly popular Prius hybrid sedan. With seating for five and significantly more cargo room than the standard model. The 2012 Toyota Prius v drives and handles like the “regular” Prius hatchback. While it’s considerably bigger in wheelbase and length, as well as slightly taller and wider, it’s not notably different to drive. The Prius V uses the same 98-horsepower, 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine and Toyota Hybrid Synergy drive system as the hatchback, along with a very slightly reshaped nickel-metal-hydride battery pack mounted under the front of the load-deck floor.

The fuel economy estimate for the Prius v is 44 mpg city, 40 mpg highway, for a combined rating of 42 mpg.
