GMC Sierra Hybrid Hybrid Trucks

GMC Sierra Hybrid Hybrid Trucks

DESCRIPTION

The GMC Sierra Hybrid features General Motor’s two-mode hybrid system that combines a 6.0-liter V8 Gen IV gasoline engine with Active Fuel Management and late intake valve closing technology with GM’s advanced Electrically Variable Transmission (EVT) and a 300-volt nickel-metal hydride Energy Storage System to achieve 40-percent greater city fuel economy and a 25-percent improvement in overall fuel economy.

The new hybrid system allows the Sierra Hybrid to drive at up to 30 mph on electricity alone and also allows the engine to operate in its more economical V4 mode for longer periods.

Model Reviewed: Sierra Hybrid 3HB Crew Cab 2WD

Strength:

The fit and finish is outstanding, this is not my first GMC, the nav works good, the back up camera is outstanding, and the Bose sound system is better than anything I have heard, and the seat are so comfortable!!

Weakness:

I don't like the position of the DIC buttons, and the the console could have been made a little more solid

The quiet ride, the seats, the sound system, as well at the fuel eco. ( I am getting 20 plus mpg c&h combined and some of that is with a small trailer behind)
