Strength:

The Power for a sedan this size is awesome, The Symphony CD player, The handling, The suspension, the Build Quality, The interior is so warm and stylish, and the leather and wood have a lasting impression. The seats are so comfy I could live in them. The Ride is dead quiet. The Navigation system works awesome. The roominess that Lexus,Infiniti,Acura etc simply DON'T Have. This car has excellent road manners.

Weakness:

NONE

I paid $78,000 for this car and would recommend this to anyones who wants a car that will last forever.

Strength:

Quiet ride, smooth and powerful engine, Amazing interior quality, styling and comfort. The stereo system is the best I've ever heard anywhere. Trunk space is vast. This car is inspiring on twisty roads. Quality construction is evident everywhere.

Weakness:

Styling is understated but unique

Quality, grace, comfort and subtle style. The Quattro all wheel drive system and the ESP control gives a very safe driving impression and amazing driving performance. Engine power is abundant. It's been snowy here in the North East and the Quattro system is very effective, even in 10 inches of snow. Amazing! If you want a go anywhere, anytime, in any condition with grace and style car, this is the one for you.

Much improved over 1999 A8 that I owned previously. Blows away the two different BMW 7 series I owned in the not so distant past.

Everything: Design, Power, Sound, Handling etc.,etc....
and this Car likes Snow !

Weakness:

The worst thing is you can't use it's full Power, 65 MPH on the Highway as Speed limit? Give me a Break ! 65MPH per Axle, sounds right?

Well, there is only one Word to - AWESOME !
I leased one in Germany and now I own one here, this is the ultimate Way
to describe when the Adrenalin pushes through your System. There is nothing
to compare the A8 with because neither BMW nor Mercedes can offer this Kind
of united Performance, Luxury and Power. BTW, my A8 in Germany had a Chip tuning done and Audi removed the autmated throttle closure by 160 MPH. So with 340 Horses and a top Speed about 175-180 MPH is driving this Animal
twices much FUN. See you later Porsche Carrera. What can I say, take this Baby for a test ride and you won't be disappointed, if you enjoy driving as much as I do without always checking the Gas price then this is the right Car.

Strength:

Handling, acceleration, sound system, comfort, styling (subdued but distinguished).

Weakness:

Transmission lag. Around town you really need to stay in 2nd or 3rd gear for maximum responsiveness.

Most awesome vehicle I've had the pleasure to drive. The appointments are impeccable, fit and finish is still superb on a 4 year old vehicle with 60K miles. Performance is very gratifying. Engine is extremely strong, and with Quattro the car corners like it's on rails!! The dealership was just a class operation through and through. They made it clear that I was now a member of the Audi family, and they would do whatever they could to keep me coming back to Audi for many vehicles to come. Couldn't be happier.

Great compromise between the performance of a BMW and the comfort of a Lexus.

Strong V8 engine with AWD,excellent fit and finish, and lots of bells and whistles for comfort.

Weakness:

see all the above

Terrible value ! I bought this car with only 55,000 miles and it was very well cared for, but AUDI's quality/durability/dependability is terrible-I have already replaced the front end suspension for $1100 (I've heard that's common), a $110 battery, had the glove box fixed to be able to open at $100, replace a coolant tank that cracked, have an engine that overheats when stopped in traffic over 90 degrees, the heated steering wheel never worked (I've heard that's common), the rear sunshade now doesn't work, and the driver's seat belt doesn't retract ! And the driver's side mirror has rust between the glass blocking half the mirror !
Anything else I missed ?? I'll remember something, just wait !
Audi USA customer support was terrible-of all the above items that failed on a 2nd hand, super high-end $65,000 car just out of the 50,000 mile warranty, they only fixed the seat belt ! And thank God I didn't have to pay for that 9 hour job! If you didn't buy this car new or you're out of warranty then good luck ! I've now heard other horror stories about Audi's customer service and terrible reliability !

I don't remember buying such a supposedly super high-end product that has been so disappointing and expensive to own, especially after paying a premium for it ! BUY A LEXUS or INFINITI or maybe a BMW!!!

None.

The first time I have fallen in love in a decade. Best sedan I've ever driven. This car feels like driving around in a nimble bank vault. This is a car for enthusiasts who love fine machinery and who love to drive. Attention to interior detail is incredible. There's even a convenient button to disable the interior motion sensors in case you want to leave someone in the car with the doors locked!
