unlike many import cars, this is predestined to be a future classic (what are '64 saabs and m5's going for these days? oh thats right, there is no demand for those.). there is actually room for 5 real adults, a rare feat these days indeed. ford actually knows how to make these kinds of cars last. not too gangster. quick.

gas milage? it's a ford (but a proven design.). only time will tell if the ford dohc is any good. only marginally gangster. if you're a red neck from colorado and married to your cousin and you're trying to be a euro-advocate but you drive an extended bed lifted pickup truck like the other 10 people that live in a 50 mile radius from you and have to drive 5 miles to get to the liquor store, this car isn't for you. but that would be a weakness on your part.

ha, some people just just don't have tihs to do. i don't either for the time being so, i see a post for this car. 4195 lbs 302-hp Torque 318 lb.-ft. not the makings of a very fast car. it's undoubtibly powerful. it won't be slow though. as for the engine itself, it's a tuned version of ford's new universally generic 4 cam v8 (what car don't they put this thing in; fords merc's lincolns and jags). this car is deliberately designed to fill the void the last true impala (the latest incarnation is a disgrace) left behind. as far as it being a old persons car, thats a subjective perspective. i doubt i'll see many grandma's buying Marauders. similar to rwd regals cutlasses and impalas, they're a little too gangster for me. but unlike the '9* impala, i don't get the same gangster vibe from this Marauder. as far as feeling self conscious and insecure in the car, don't bother. you won't get clowned, you'll get compliments and unless you're a lame saab advocate, you should get some phone numbers too. btw, a saab is just a trimmed up chevy cavalier. yes saab is controlled by GM and saab has no identity no true appeal and nothing but a 4 cyl turbo to offer. and we all know how well-engineered they are. and as far as other overpriced overrated and pretencious euro trash goes, if you want a true "luxury sports sedan" get a gs430 (german products lack substance). the Marauder is a FULL SIZE muscle sedan. there is a distinction. know about that.
