At 160 clicks the head gasket blew. the bearings were finished, the blower moter blew twice.. all in all this car has costed me more than what i payed for it.

dealer/warrenty info-i also have tried calling Daewoo 2 times-all i get to do is leave a message and i have yet to get a return call.

well i was very happy to get this car-al little too good to be true on my part though. only has 29k miles on it-i figured it couldn't be that bad considering the price-title was clean (so Autocheck says-i guess this is e-bays version of carfax. i just went to get my NY inspection done yesterday and it has failed emissions. appears to be due to the camshaft sensor recall that has not yet been corrected. the 1st dealership closest to my work that i got from the daewoous web site was able to pull my stereo for me and search the unlock code, is unable to do the recall because they nolonger do the warrenty work on daewoo's. now i just have to hope that the other 2 dealers within 40 miles will do it. the brakes are in need of being done-i hope i don't have a problem finding the shoes. the check engine light has been tampered with-either by fuse or bulb removal (that is why i didn't know it would fail inspection). there is also an exauhst leak around the cat. converter.

aside from the problems, i really love the car. it is comfortable and spacious, rides nice and looks great.

overal performance is crap and it breaks one thing after another parts are hard to get and no auto place even likes repairing Daewoos....

OMG I have had the worst luck with this car I got a 2000 Daewoo Nubria and at 47,0000 miles it already has an oil leak. I don’t know exactly what it is from but I have been told it is a pretty big deal I mean cmon that’s low miles for the engine to be leaking oil. When I first got the car it wouldnt even start that was probaly a BIG clue there no wonder they claimed bankruptsy.

Strong paint no peeling. It's a silver bullet no rust no nothing.

Hard to change the side lights in front.

I have this car since Dec. of 2002 with only one hundred and seventy two )172) miles and I have never had any major problems with the car. I had two problems with the car was the Power windows motor going out on both sides of the back windows that's because we never let down the back windows and we did the windows was stuck in the rubber that keeps water out. It still has it warranty and now I have 27,000 miles. I have had the car checked out by the dealer. Kia in Texas does all the maintenance here. they are the ones who bought out daewoo. that is what I was told but that is the only problems that I have had since I had the car. The car is still running strong and and everything works. I love my car I do the services on it like clockwise. Sometimes I forget to change the oil that's typical.

Drive belt.

I've owned this car for just about 3 yrs. with not one single problem! I've done the required maintenance and did replace the drive belt at 20,000 miles. That was too early to have to changed it in my mind but I had read so many horror stories on this site that I'm grateful for and caught it early. My paint job is exceptional. People actually still comment on it and I have NEVER even waxed it once. It's hot looking too! I cannot complain. In Houston there is only 1 dealer who services Daewoo's but my own car repair shop just orders parts from them. Yea, it takes a day or two but that's life. It's an awesome car and you get a lot for the buck! Every car manufacturer has lemons in the lot. Trust me, I know. My last car was a Pontiac Grand Prix and WAS A NIGHTMARE each and every day. It's been very dependable, has great get up and go and not a lot of them on the road and I especially like that. I don't want to drive what everyone else is driving. You get so many extras in this car that others charge riduculous $$$$ for. I WOULD by another. Daewood was actually on public TV recently on Motor Trend and they had nothing but great things to say about them. I'm truly sorry for the ones who have had so many problems out there. I know how it feels. Pontiac could have cared less!!!

Got the vehicle for a great price of 4000 with only 25k miles.Its a great car for the price i paid, 6-CD changer, moon roof, power everything. Had to change the camshaft position sensor, but it was done free as it was part of recall.

The entrie car is a weakness. When you have to travel back and forth to work with small children, and you can't depend on your own car, I consider this a huge weakness.

When I bought this car new, NO ONE told me of the difficulties I would have. No clue they were going bankrupt, and no clue on how difficult it would replacing parts. People don't even want to change the oil..stating liability. I have replaced the brakes, rotars and all 3 times! Engine light just comes on and off at will. Engine knocks from time to time. Fabric on drivers side seat wore away after the 1st year! Worst car experiance ever! Shame on you Daewoo for not taking care of your customers, and Shame on every care salseman who sold these cars to unsuspecting car buyers. What comes around goes around!

dependable,air conditioning blows very cold,radio works great (should since thats what daewoo makes normally) Repairs are relatively easy compared to many newer vehicles.

paint is not highest quality.

My daewoo has 96,000 miles on it and going strong.The timing belt broke on the previous owner because it was not changed at 60K interval.However that is a normal thing to happen to new vehicles.You must change your timing belt at proper times!!Take off power is not that of a sports car but I dont care about that.The car is dependable with proper maintenance.Parts while not the easiest to get are more available than those for a DeLorean.The paint on the car is not the greatest in the world.However it is no where near as bad as the crap they put on Dodge Neons.I would recommend you be a mechanically inclined person with the ability to do ALL yes ALL you own repairs.People who depend on dealer mechanics will not make it with this vehicle since there are no warranties and they will rape you for it being a "foreign" car.

Although I have 110,000+ miles on it and it and the motor is currently running fine I have had my share of problems, i.e. antenna motor has went out twice, the windshield sprayer motor burned out, very poor paint job, cd player quit working and last but not least the master cylinder went out (without warning) and I had to wait 4 MONTHS on the replacement part....yes, I said 4 MONTHS without my car.

I like the styling...its perky engine...has been confused as a 2004 Toyota Camry and Lexus as well as a MBez...

I agree that the brakes arn't its best features, but thats it.

OK...so im reading all the Daewoo Leganza reviews, many are negative, but i have had very minor problems, one being my power moonroof, but was fixed within 1 hour, under warrenty. I decided to buy one because my sister had one and i really liked the stylish high-end look of it, and i drove it anf thought it had excellent pick up for its engine size...so not many complaints from this DAEWOO owner!!
