Strength:

i love the body style of this car. that is it.

Weakness:

you cant find parts to fix the car. if you do they are overpriced and on back order for at least a month.

this is the worst car anyone could buy. this is my first new car and it sucks. my car has been in the shop more times than i can count for control arms, brakes, check engine lights, suspension, starter, altenator, a/c, battery, shorts in tail lights, etc. recently, my car flooded during tropical storm fay that should have been the end of it. it sat in the shop for 32 days and still has to go back. the parts to fix it are on order: shorted out lights, windows, alarm, locks. the interior is ruined and there are no replacements seats or carpet to be found. the dealership i bought my car at no longer sell daewoos because of bankruptcy. thought about driving old blue in to the river.

Strength:

Handling and ride are great. Good gas mileage for size of car. On a recent trip with entire family and luggage we got 33 mpg. Lots of room for size of car.

Weakness:

CUP HOLDERS! IS THAT WHAT THOSE ARE???? Original tires wore out at 24,000 miles. The rear sprayer for the washer is a joke.

Went to the dealership in my POS Hyundai to "JUST LOOK" at the wagons. Only dealer in western washington that had a 5-speed manual trans. We fell in love on our test drive. We have had our "WOO" for over 2 1/2 years weith very few problems. Had a sticky check valve within the 1st 6 months. The only other problem to date is the starter is intermittent at 63,000 miles. "Thank god we searched for the manual trans. so we can at least push start. Dealer is working on getting new starter or rebuilding original due to the West Coast Longshoreman's Problems. We opted to purchase the Toyota ext. warranty and are extremely glad we did. Can't say enough good things about our dealer and their service department. Great group of Guys.

Good motor, comfortable ride, good long trip car

#1 General Motors has dealings with Daewoo #2 Milea Pontiac,GMC,Buick and Daewoo as a dealership stinks #3 Everyone can thank GM for the Daewoo dilema.

No major problems as of yet. Only problem is no E-brake (in the process of fixing). The car has 33,000 miles so far and is a better vehicle than my 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT1 (which was turned in early b/c of to many brake downs)

DON"T BUY A DAEWOO, I have read alot of the reveiws most have only had their vehicle 12 months. Wait tell the problems start. Resale is bad.

Owned this car for over 3 years had a number of minor problems with the vehicle while under warrenty. However these were repaired, until Daewoo went bust and last service sucked. Since then the car has never been right. In the last six months the vehicle has had a major problems, producing to much AC which has damaged the computer, continual high revs and engine repair light coming on all the time. Recommeded not to drive while on. Mechanics can't find the problem. AM NOT HAPPY, so far cost me over $2000 in repairs and in work shop for a number of weeks. Daewoo don't even know what the problem is or are not prepared to say that there is a problem.

Strength:

good 2 litre motor, stereo, good for commuting or long trips, well designed inside and out, 3 yr warranty, good dealer

Weakness:

original door handle chrome tore & had to be replaced - they seem to be using better stuff now, air con knob broke once (weakness behind the knob in the dash. Resale value does not appear to be as good as Toyotas etc.

Has good power in its reliable 2 litre motor, beaut stereo, reasonably comfortable for a tall person, easy to drive - long or short distance, good sized boot, generally lots of features for the money
