ROOMY, PRETTY ON THE OUTSIDE.

ALL OF THE ABOVE

THIS CAR HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP MORE THAN 13 TIMES. REPLACED IGNITION 2 TIMES, RECALLS ON CLUTCH, REAR LIGHT, INSIDE REAR PANEL. SIDE MIRROR ON DRIVERS SIDE CAME OFF GOING DOWN THE ROAD. CAR CUTS OFF AT RANDOM TIMES AND HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP 4 0R 5 TIMES TO TRY TO FIX. NEW FUEL PUMP WAS THE LAST TRY AND IT DID NOT WORK. RADIO WAS CUTTING IN/OUT SENT TO BE REPAIRED CAR WAS IN THE SHOP FOR 3 DAYS FOR THIS. WHILE IN SHOP FORD CLEANED THE CAR UP AND USED A PRESSURE WASHER ON IT AND TOOK THE PAINT OFF THE FRONT BUMPER. IT HAD ALREADY BEEN REPLACED BY FORD AFTER SOMEONE HAD BUMPED INTO ME. THE PAINT DID NOT HOLD UP. I REPLACED THE TIRES ON THIS CAR AFTER ON HAVING 26,00O MILES ON IT. THEY WERE BALD. MY MAIN CONCERN HAS BEEN THE CAR KEEPS CUTTING OFF AT RANDOM TIMES AND THE FORD PEOPLE DON''T SEEM INTERESTED IN FIXING IT. MY WARRANTY HAS NOW RUN OUT AND I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO BECAUSE IT STILL HAS DONE IT TWICE SINCE REPLACING THE FUEL PUMP. A SAFETY FACTOR IS NOT WHAT FORD IS INTERESTED IN JUST GETTING THE CUSTOMER TO HUSH SEEMS TO BE THEIR MAIN CONCERN. I TRIED TO TRADE BUT THE ALLOWANCE ON THIS CAR WAS $7800.00 AND I OWE $11,000. THAT SAYS ALOT ABOUT THE CAR RIGHT THERE. SINCERELY CONCERNED ABOUT THESE CARS ELIZABETH JONES

Smooth ride and handling

BRAKES! Shut up! SQUEEEEEEEK!

Good commuter car. Decent mileage, good power w/Z-Tec engine. Ride and handling are most impressive features. Smooth ride even at 100+ mph is rare for a subcompact.

Everything! I race my car alot and I almost always win. I also have a pontiac firebird. It has the 6 cylinder but it has a cold air intake, full exhaust, a shift kit, and 3.73 rear end gearing. My focus beats this car everytime. It is so much faster that dodge neon, honda civic, toyota corolla, chevy cavalier, chrysler pt cruiser, mitsubishi eclipse and toyota celica! (zetec). It is smooth! I drive alot on the freeway and alot in the city. It makes all of it feel like a brand new road. It looks awesome! I get alot of people looking at my car and saying that they like it.

I love my car! It''s awesome! There are alot of reviews here that say that the car sucks but I think that they are working for honda or toyota or something. My car performs awesomely! It''s fast,comfortable,smooth, and cool looking! If I had to pick I would buy another one in a heart beat!

Interior room-trunk space-HANDLING-ALL the power stuff-better then average CD-radio-available after market equipment.

Could use 10-20 more horses especially with A/C on.

I am a large guy, 6'' 330lbs. I usually drove pickup trucks or full size cars. The Focus is about the only small car with a front door I don''t have to be a pretzel to get in!! My wife''s Lumina LTZ is harder to get in & out of. I have the 130HP Zetec, 5 speed with power everything.

Windows squeek, and rear door is bent BAD DESIGN.

Good reliable car. I have two problems with the car. The windows are squeking when they are being rolled down and that began a week ago and only when it''s really cold and damp. And the rear hatch on wagon is getting dimples in the steel door because when you use the plastic bar to shut the door it''s damaging the door. I''ve seen the problem in severl Focus Wagons througout town. Currently working with the dealership to get fixed.

The brakes have gone out three times. Many recalls. Hade to take it in many times. Most of witch they couldnt find out what was wrong untill i took it in again. Interior a two year old could break. They wont fix it either they say it''s my fault. Transmisson leaks, Clicking heard in engine when in idle position, Swing bar broke, Emergency brake broke, i could go on forever!

This car Sucks. They should have worked everything out before they sold it to us. It is very cheaply made and everything falls apart.

Reliability

I like the car as a whole but will never buy another Ford. I have had too many problems and seem to be just out of the limits of the MA lemon Law because it is a new problem each time. Good thing I bought the extended warranty with it. The radiator, head, and other components were all replaced after I noticed it was running hot. Next the O2 sensor. Then the engine mounting bolt, which destroyed the belts. Most recently the rear wheel bearings needed to be replaced. Bad Apple

this car is absolutly fantastic i mean i love this car i put 18in rims on it and a avenger body kit and alot of engine work but even before that the 2.0 liter zetec engine was a punchy little thing pretty good on gas brakses suck but what u gonna do (according to the dealership the brakes are normal to skeak) but overall great car!!!
