Strength:

IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY GOOD QAULITIES EXCEPT THAT IT LOOKS GOOD FROM THE OUTSIDE

Weakness:

EVERY POSSIBLE THING.................

WHEN I BOUGHT THIS CAR I THOUGHT IT WAS GREAT. BUT, AFTER ABOUT 2 MONTHS INTO DRIVING IT, I HEAR ALL SORTS OF NOISES. MY ROTORS HAVE BEEN REPLACED ONCE ALREADY BUT THEY DID NOT REPLACE THE BRAKES, NOW I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AGAIN. MY DEALERSHIP REFUSES TO REPLACE ANYTHING, BUT DON'T I HAVE BUMPER TO BUMPER COVERAGE, ESPEACIALLY ON DEFECTED PARTS THAT ARE ON THE CAR? THAT'S ONLY ONE PROBLEM...I HAVE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE TRANSMISSION, SOMETIMES IT FEEL LIKE IT'S SLIPPING, A NOISE IN THE DASH BOARD THAT GETS LOUDER & LOUDER EVERYDAY, A CLUNKING NOISE IN THE REAR OF THE CAR,THE PAINT CHIPPED OFF MY REAR SPOILER WITHIN THE 1ST MONTH I HAD IT, THEY REPAINTED & THE OPPOSITE SIDE CAME BACK DISTORTED LOOKING. I AM A COLLEGE STUDENT AND A HARD WORKER, I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THESE PROBLEMS, IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS I WOULD OF NEVER BOUGHT THIS CAR!!!!

TOTALLED EASILY....ALL LOT OF PEOPLE WOULD SAY THAT IS A STRENGTH BUT I THINK I PISSED OFF HYUNDAI FINANCE.... I DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH FINANCING EVEN THOUGH IT SHOULD BE CUT AND DRY , THEY ACT LIKE YOUR TOTALLY NEW....

Well, everyone, Guess what CRASH #2..... yep, no injuries walk away, hopefully car not totalled. This one was classified as My Bad, anyway, its a long story, but I am going to sum it up because I am having a bad day... Anyway, the car hit me in the front passenger side, (fender) I was turning right and I could not see traffic because of a bunch of cars lined up on the street so I was easing out and bam, I was hit by a lady who "didn't see me" Anyway, I am willing to bet this has to go to court so I am looking forward to that... Basic sum of the damage is really quite unsure (I just got home) but it looks like bumper fender door, and the axle is probably broken ( that could turn out nasty ) but I hope that they do not total it because I really truly love my car but I don't think I could bring myself to get another one. there was 2 other people with me this time, my sister and my niece, neither one hurt at all, and there was no damage inside the car that I noticed I will know for sure that tomorrow. Anyway, she knocked me into anther car in the front passenger side corner and the other car was all banged up (the empty one) but on that side the bumper was only scratched pretty bad and there was no dent, so I guess the small mph tests are right about the bumpers being so sturdy.
I am not sure if side airbags went off, I didn't think they did but my sis says that she thought they did but didn't notice. I will check tomorrow. Anyway, if this one is totalled then I don't know what I will do, 2 wrecks in 2 seperate Champange 2001 Elantras, kinda smooky, there was 6000 miles on the first one and 5400 on this one. Oh yeah, the other car was 96 Sunfire, which was smashed to smitherines, (but she was only going 35) but anyway, I am really thinking that it is not totalled. If anyone wants more info please please please feel free to email. I find therapy in the emails.
I should have pics of the new one but tommorrow so I can email those too. THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT EVERYONE IS OK.
Everyone please drive safe...
Love
Steph
