Strength:

The 3.5L engine, the interior the exterior

Weakness:

the grille... why nissan why?

Driving the Altima coupe is a real treat, the car is impressivly fast, a 0-60 time in the high 5 second range is nothing to frown at. The 3.5 litre engine boasts a horsepower rating of 270 and 258 torque. The car handles like it is on rails even with the factory Bridgestone Turanza's, a near perfect weight distribution and a rear multi-link suspension help this car turn with confidence. Most cars that handle this well have to sacrifice comfort by shoving on super stiff springs, but not so much in this situation, this car is comfortable, it takes most bumps smoothly without jarring the occupants around. The interior of the car is on a different level then that of other Nissans. This interior would be better suited in an infiniti, the seats are impressive comfortable and supportive, very tolerable for a multi-hour drive. The BOSE stereo is epic, its a 9 speaker system that raises the bar for every other car manufacturer out there. The SAT/NAV system is phenomenal, the interior is general is a nice place to be. The exterior of the car can be summarized with just 1 word "epic". The rear of this car is gorgeous, from the diffuser to the tail lights to the body lines of the rear deck lid, it is gorgeous, and the body lines continue to slow smoothly and oh so wonderfully to the front with sweeping roof lines and across the front fenders and then the nissan designers stopped designing the car they sat back looking at there design so far and said that's enough. the front grille is this honeycomb mess.. it has chrome accents on it as well, who at nissan thought that would be a good idea? That minor flaw aside, this car is incredible, it handles, it performs, its comfortable, its beautiful, so surely its the car for everyone so should everyone rush out and buy one because this car is gods gift to the automotive industry ....no. sadly it isn't and here's why. When I was looking at buying a new car i was looking at 2 other cars, the 2008 Audi TT, and the 2007 Porsche Cayman S. The nissan is as fast as these two cars, it handles within range of these two cars, the nissan is more comfortable then these two cars. The nissan is a more practical car, its the car a person SHOULD choose.... And thats just it, the nissan makes too much sense. i dont want a car that makes that much sense i want a car that is impractical a car that is rear wheel drive, a car that can spin out at any moment, a car that can do a burnout without effort, a car that requires skill to drive, a car that if you mess up will bite your head off, because you feel most alive when you're pushing it to the limits.. and i dont get that in the nissan, it doesnt bite my head off, it just does what its told and thats it fault... it just makes too much sense. So to the level headed people out there " enjoy the nissan" because i will be dreaming of the Porsche.

Strength:

Great design, push-button ignition, bose sound system, blue-tooth handsfree calling, keyless entry.

Weakness:

front honey-comb gril

I love this car! feels and looks like a G37 for less than 30k! The push-button ignition is fun, the bose system as fantastic and the gas mileage keeps extra cash in my pocket. The money I save on gas offsets my monthly payment, compared to what I spent on refueling my Jeep.

Strength:

Well built with quality interior
Styling exterior
comfortable in the front driver and passenger seats

Weakness:

Maybe a little small in the back seat, but it is a sports car so...

I have to say, " this car is most impressive". My original intent was to buy a Nisssan Pathfinder. When I saw this car on the show floor, I had to check it out. It has sleek styling and looks like the little brother to the Nissan 350Z. I bought the upgraded interior package which comes with leather, sunroof, Bose Stereo, spoiler, and much more. I first drove the 3.5S and quickly realized it was much more power then I needed. I bought the 2.5S 4 cyl, and boy that car runs. The Continious Velocity Transmission(CVT) is exactly like the commercials. It is so smooth, you do not feel shifting; just like the commercials with the woman putting on her makeup and not making a mess. It has a wide profile and handles very solidly while still a smooth ride. Man, I love this car.
