Strength:

Mechanically dependable; great gas mileage; very good handling; comfortable for long drives.

Weakness:

Only 73 HP makes it a tough climb up our road, a 12% uphill climb to the highway.

A wonderful dependable adaptable car which I'd rather not sell. But I had to get a larger SUV for my work.

Strength:

Great fuel economy, no one will steal it, damn good car for the money ! Whiners look elsewhere...will leave more Justys for us.

Weakness:

Parts $.....no respect while driving (so)

This is the best little car I've owned. I commute 60+ mioles a day, so I was looking for economy...the car drives well, will corner with anything short of a sports car. Fuel economy is great (40-45 mpg). Car has 163,000 miles at this time. Had to replace head gasket and radiator (thats how I got it), car now runs a little cool (HD radiator). It's not for people that think their car is the means by which they are measured....it's for people that know better! When this one dies, I'll find another.

Strength:

Good gas mileage, plenty of pep for a 3 cylinder-tiny car(5 speed helps), can park this matchbox car anyplace, easy to work on, better looking than a Geo Metro, Ford Festiva, or any of the micro cars.

Weakness:

TOOOO SMALL!!! Peppy, but not peppy enough. Needed a 4 cylinder! Too small. Parts are too costly, and hard to find. Cheaply made. Not very safe(Iwould be afraid to get into an accident with a moped).

I guess it's a good little car, I have had it for a little over a month now, and I haven't had to put much into it. I had to change the valve cover gasket it was leaking profusely! The plug wires were original, as is everything else, so I replaced them(cap, rotor, plugs). They were the cheap parts. Every other part I look up is rediculously expensive. I now found that there is a bit of oil leaking through the distributor. Not cool, but I'm not paying $250 for a new distributor! These cars are like golf carts! They are really tiny. I don't feel very safe driving this car. I knew it was small when I bought it, but who would pass up a near new condition car for $500.00. The elderly couple I bought it from, bought it new in 1990, I had the original title for it, and the mileage was 29 miles when they got it. The body is in great condition, no rust(it's a florida car), it runs excellent, and the interior is near mint condition! I would have been stupid not to buy this car. I do need something bigger though.(When your insurance agent tells you the cost to insure is gonna go up a bit because of the small size of your car, and the low survival rate in a crash, you get a bit WORRIED) Overall it's a decent LITTLE car.

Strength:

4WD, handling, gas mileage,reliability.

Weakness:

I don't have a/c

This is the 2nd car I have owned, and I have had it since 1994, it had less than 10k kms on it when I got it, I paid $9500 Canadian $. For a 9 yo car, I had relatively few repair, mostly the exhaust cuz I've killed it on the wood roads going mudding. I love the way it handles in the snow and I have never gotten stuck in it. It Now has over 200 000 Kms on it, and is still going strong.

Strength:

Maneuverability, economy, spirited ride, roomy even for tall peoples.

Weakness:

Can only hold about 700 lbs, expensive to fix. Need to drive like the world is out to get you. Maybe only in this town.

This is the best little car in the world. I have worked on the engine, trans., brakes and tons of other things. From a mechanics point of view this is a well built machine. Parts are expensive but available from online stores like Smothers and PartsAmerica. The screaming 3 cyl engine is so easy to get at to service. Keep chaning the oil every 3000 miles and it does great. Wife uses it for paper route and is perfect for those tight turns and small spaces. Can become invisible to larger SUV/Pickups as it is so small. Gas economy is great. Kids like the get up and go but the stereo system needs beefing up big time they say. Fine car for just about everything from grocery getting to 4WD down the mountian roads in the snow or mud. If it gets stuck just pick it up and move it back on soild ground.

Strength:

Park where no one else even thinks of. Lack of fuel consumption. Fun to drive at speed, with the knowledge of knowing you will definitely have bought the farm if you lose it. *Perplexing uninterested gazes from Mercedes driving members of the opposite sex.

Weakness:

Seat material has begun to return to the elements, and effectively decompose, unlike a ''69 Camaro Vinyl bucket. Nothing an expensive set of coordinating Gray Sheepskins didn''t obsure.

Bought my little white Justy used in 1994 from the original owner with appx. 4,000 miles on it. Went to the dealer a few days later to pick up an air filter and a few other odds and ends and they had a special on factory A/C dealer installed for $700! The first time I hit that little blue button on the dash for the A/C, it paid for itself. Does absolutely fine with 3 cyls. and A/C. Has lived in a garage all its life and the original white paint is virtually flawless still. Parts are apparently becoming increasingly difficult to locate, but it has never required anything major. All and all, a great little 3 cyl with 5 speed. Scoffs at the gas station. Looks like a shrunken VW Rabbit, but with some tire/wheel upgrades, it handles very well. I am 6''4" 240bs and have no problem with leg/head room. My other car is a ''63 Corvette with Fuel Injection. Quite a transition from the Justy, but I''ll keep the junior Subaru till parts are extinct. No rust anywhere on this one. For the semi- eclectic individual. Suggests economic hardship, or is it just cautious common sense?

Strength:

When it snowed, one of the best cars on the road

Weakness:

When it was dry, 72hp didn''t cut it.

It was a great first car. Never gave me many problems. Although the ones that I had cost a fortune. To replace all the shocks was over a $1000. The 4WD is great. The only time I ever got stuck in the snow I was crashing snowdrifts. When the roads were snowy the car overall was great but the heater was week. It couldn’t keep up with –40. When the roads where dry the lack op power pissed me off to no end.
