Strength:

good pick-up, good trunk and passenger space, nice design.

Weakness:

Gas mileage could be better; wider wheels on the rear might make freeway travel easier, less stressfull; NO cabin lights other than middle door light.

Excellent buy -- paid a hair more than market value, but got 0% financing as a trade-off. Good handling, great pick-up even with A/C on; factory CD player, how 'bout that? Plenty of leg and head room.

Can't really compare -- Camry's a great car. STill, the switch to the Esteem was easy, and I would recommend it to others.

Model Reviewed: 1.8 4door

Strength:

lots of room, and the ac gets cold fast.

Weakness:

gas mileage sucks on it when i drive in the city...175 to 225 miles per tank. on the highway it gets about 275 to 320. but you have to realize it is a 12 gallon tank....

overall, i like the car. it has good pickup on the highway, and it gets pretty decent gas mileage ON THE HIGHWAY, but not in the city. it drives pretty smooth, and the radio sounds alright for being factory. it did almost kill me when i was driving in the rain and the brakes and steering wheel locked up when i came to a stop.
