Strength:

Power, Prestige, Style, Just About Everything

Weakness:

What, on this car? Good luck finding any major issues

It drives like nothing else can, or maybe like only lamborghini can... This car knows it's the best and flaunts it to all the people looking jealously at you from the sidewalks or parking lots. The fabled Ferrari Stalion and Elegant body make this car a mobile showcase on what it takes to be great. Named for the famed Ferrari home city, the Maranello's performance is god-like, seriously; if God decided to drive he'd take this car. Besides being a tad heavy for city driving, it kicks ass. On the open road you get the true Ferrari feel as you rip past 100 and feel as if you're still hovering at 75!

Strength:

Obviously speed, handling and styling. Clear country lanes. Possibly the only sports car (except Porsche 996) that i can get my ideal driving position in (because im 6"4")

Weakness:

Sounds great but not loud enough (fixed by my sports exhaust and noise deadening removal, great). Less rolls of film used by tourists than in Lamborghini Diablo. My one gets too dirty too quickly, but thats my fault. Not enough people buy red ones?

This car is beyond me to compliment: Despite poor reviews for its styling in many magazines, once seen in the flesh it is possibly the most stunningly beautiful and subtle Ferrari ever built.
It handles like a dream, stable at speed, but not too heavy; twitchy around bends, but totally controlled; Firm, but not uncomfortable. And what is it with all these people saying how uncomfortable the seats are, theyre great!
The 5.5l V12 is a great engine, smooth, progressive power delivery and copious amounts of torque allow easy driving in town (i just leave it in 4th gear in London!) Although it could make its presence known a bit more.

Porsche 928 GTS (Fantastic car and similiar concept to 550 but no way)
Porsche 911 (993) C4 (handles just as well as 550 but again no way)
Porsche 911 (996) Turbo (possibly the best car ever made, better dynamically than the 550 but give me the Ferrari any day)
Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 VT (If this car werent so tasteless and small inside i would have a hard decision as to wether i would swap it for my 550)

Well, I would have to say, if I wanted a Hyundai, I would have gone down to the local dealership and bought one for the same price of the custom wheels I purchased for this Ferrari. I was quite disappointed in the heavy cornering and sluggish throw, not to metion the poor stitching on the leather seatback. Although my F2 has been quite the pleasure in which to cruise around town, my 550 is not even comparable to my 69 GT 350 parked in my garage. My business partners are read to take it off my hands, and I'm not stopping them. I have been an avid collector of fine automobiles and wanted to pick up another high performance eye catcher, one for others to drool over, however this one is going back. Again, if I wanted a Hyundai, I would have bought a Hyundai.
