Model Reviewed: BMW X6 xDrive35i

Strength:

Unique and beautiful styling, absolutely outstanding handling characteristics, bluetooth feature is fantastic! You will be stopped at gas stations and in parking lots by people asking you about the X6. It is not a "me too" car in traffic or in restaurant parking lots. Beautifully finished interior with gorgeous leather and wood trim. Easy to use, intuitive controls. I think it is the most attractive SUV/Crossover on the road today!

Weakness:

Could have better fuel economy - but I think It's my fault - this car begs to be driven too fast! I have to admit, I even had to set the Speed Limit Chime because the car is so solid and responsive, you will find yourself SPEEDING right along without realizing it. I just noticed - this "con" is really a big pro for those who love to drive.

A wonderful, satisfying car to own - not for soccer moms or people who need a cargo and people hauler - but a great car for someone who wants the driving visibility of an SUV with the driving experience of a great handling (think BMW 5 series) sedan. The engine has a wonderful, throaty song to sing without being a drone that irritates. Great passing ability, and a wonderful car to drive on a twisty road. Passengers love the rear seat with a real console to put their drinks and car keys in - and the ability to set their own interior temp as well. Everyone that has been a rear seat passenger LOVES this car. Do yourself a favor - go and test drive an X6 - if you can afford the somewhat high price point set by BMW, you won't regret selecting the X6 as your next car.
