Strength:

Comfort, style, reliability

Weakness:

None. For some the gas mileage might be an issue but if you are going to drive a SUV of this size you cant expect 30 MPG. I live in the country and I get almost 17 here and about 19 on the highway with the cruise set at 70.

Overall, a GREAT SUV. Comfort, stability and a great dealership experience. I bought this SUV when it had only 29,000 miles after being 4 years old. It is in great shape. Has done everything I have expected it to do with comfort and style.

Strength:

Very solid and quiet inside, plenty of power (though at higher RPMs). Leather interior has held up well to two children. People still stare at it when we drive by, have no idea what it is.

Weakness:

Premium fuel requirement. Cramped interior for larger drivers.

We bought an Infiniti after looking at many Nissan Pathfinders. We wanted the AWD option, plus leather. Turns out that a loaded 2001 SE Pathfinder is about the same price as the 2001 QX4, used. So, we bought the Infiniti with only 11,500 miles on it. This is my wife's car. She is 5'3" and 115 lbs. I am 6'1" and 250lbs. I feel cramped in the QX4, while it is perfect for her. While it is a luxury SUV, ours didn't have a couple little things that our 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT did: trip computer and auto-dim rear view mirror. I really miss knowing exactly what gas mileage I was getting. The ride seems a bit harsh now and then, and the 240hp V6 needs to get to really high RPMs before you really feel the power. Gas mileage has been acceptable; 17 mixed city/hwy driving with a high of 21mpg on one road trip. Premium fuel requirement is getting a bit expensive, though, as it has hit $1.85 a gallon here. Winter driving has been very rewarding with excellent manners on snow and ice. Dry pavement handling is also on par with most new SUVs. No maintenance issues so far. 15,000-mile service is due at $375. Overall a very nice, competent, solid vehicle.

Strength:

Great ride, quiet, good looking outside and very nice interior with nice options.

Weakness:

Gas mileage and outside step that should not be there in the first place. No purpose and a problem in exiting.

Great SUV in upper class with top of the line options.

Strength:

Best look in the business. Handles great in bad weather (snow, etc.). Interior and dash put together intelligently. Best 4 wheel low position I've ever seen.

Weakness:

Engine could use a V8

I got this vehicle when it first came out in 1997. I put on a heavy duty exhaust system for more power. It is unquestionably the BEST vehicle I have owned

Sharp styling. Comfortable front seats. Good horsepower. Reliability.

Weakness:

Cramped rear seats. Fuel economy. Price.

What a nice, well appointed SUV. I really love how it drives. The power is incredible and the looks are awesome, to say the least. However I do have a major gripe about this car. The rear seats SUCK big time. They're just not comfortable at all. There is virtually no leg and foot room which is downright horrible during long trips. Also, the fuel economy is awful. Other than that, there is nothing else to gripe about.

Overall a wonderful SUV. Solid and handsome. Lots of features at very competitive price.
