Strength:

Cheaper and roomier than most midsized suv's. Reasonable price. Coolsporty looks. I like the style of this suv. When it comes to looks I think this is the best looking one. The power and winter button should not be located near the armrest. Everytime I place my cup I accidentally hit them.

Weakness:

The brakes hammers when I stomp on it. And compared to my camry it takes longer for the brake to hold. I have a 2WD and I notice when driving up a hill, it accelerates slower. But I have driven this truck up to 110m/hr many times before (I dont recommend this) but I never had problems with it.

This is the kind of suv you won't buy at first sight 'cause it looks smaller than other midsized suv's but once you take it for a test drive, it is hard not to buy it. PLUS it actually has a roomy cargo room. My husband bought this car and I really was not happy about it at first. I like the looks but I did not expect much from it. Then I test drive it and I love the way it handles. It's so easy to maneuver, I like the inside and outside. Looks really sporty and not boring like the Ford explorer. It looks small on the outside compared to other mid sized suv's but it actually has plenty of cargo room. I like the seats 'cause it's highback. 6 cd changer is good. My cd got stuck once and they changed the whole system for free. It gets bumpy but I've ridden a Toyota 4 runner and Land cruiser and believe me, Rodeo rides better. PLUS it's roomier than the 4 runner and explorer even if those trucks looks bigger on the outside.

Camry. I love my camry cause it's easy to handle, fast and I never had a problem with it. But after you've driven an suv you don't want to go back to a car.

Strength:

Handles well off and on road, visibility is good, leg room and creature comforts adequate.

Weakness:

the 3.1 liter v-6 still drains gas, Isuzu dealerships untrustworthy, AC noise(not in the pulley bearing), stock sound system sucks, my Pioneer/Polk Audio sytem sounds %100 better

I recently purchased my Rodeo from the original owner who had taken exceptional care it. Although it has 107000 miles, it just keeps on running. I love taking it out on trails and its even hard to get stuck in 2wd. I've had the thing stuck up past the doors in mud and after a thorough cleaning it keeps on running smooth as glass. Offroad after market products are hard to come by, but a basket-carrier rack and Hella offroad lights out of JCWhitney are suffiecient enough for the trail-ready look i desired. I think the older model rodeos have more of a "bare-knuckels" look to them than the curves of the new-model rodeos.

Strength:

V6! powerful! torque is good. Seats are comfortable but can be more supportive. noise inside cabin is minimal except on highway.

Weakness:

windows are not tinted dark enough to minimize UV ray and sunlight. cheesy stereo knob. very poor fuel economy. accessories like cupholders for the rear are terrible!

It was fun to drive at first, but problems start to come up from accessories. I hate it I hate it! Even though overall performance is satisfactory, distraction from faulty accessories downgrades the car.

Strength:

Very economical for a SUV, nice looking, smooth ride and lots of storage space.

Weakness:

Dont like the spare tire location hanging off the back of the rear. Cooling system problems early on, but havent had them since.

I love my Rodeo. The Warranty of 5yrs/50,000 miles beat the competitors warranty when I purchased it new in 97. I've driven it over 72k so far, many times to Texas and back. The only complaint so far is the cooling system. Twice I had to take it into the dearler to fix a busted radiator hose, but at the time it was still under warranty. Knock on wood, no engine or tranny problems thus far. Good horse power in my V6, but not great. Decent gas milage too, about 20 mthg.

Strength:

Does it have any?

Weakness:

Everything, you name from the 15 miles to a galion that is suppost to be 17-21 and the dealership says there is nothing wrong with it to the decreasing value.

This SUV is a POS. I have a 2001 With 4000 miles on it paid 29000.00 for it, don't like it, went to trade it in it is only worth 19000.00 now 4 months later. Gas mileage sucks and you really feel like you are in a rodeo riding a bull going down the road.

Anything is better buy a KIA and save yourself the money they will probably compare about the same.
