Strength:
Power, construction, technology, style, and confidence when driving.
Weakness:
Makes you feel guilty that you have one and theres so few out there, not enough people shareing in the fun. A complete Joy to drive, rain, snow, potholes, tricky roads, highway, offroad, makes no difference. It has the feel of being indestructable, the drivetrain feels to me like its geared and equiped like a military vehicle. Solid to say the least, at almost 4000lbs you woulden't believe how agile it is, and that weight adds to its strength and integrity when trashing about offroad. A absolute riot to drive, and like many others, I too can't wait for another opportunity to take it out for a spin. It draws attention, but in a ever increasing bland world I welcome the opportunity to add a little style and flare to the roads. Similar Products Used: Compared to others I have driven, no comparison, easy to drive, solid in the turns, absolutly stable under most if not all driving conditions. |

Strength:
A wonderful blend of knock down drop dead great looks along, solid design and engineering, all brought together with far above average workmanship.
Weakness:
As with the others, I have to cite the rearward view. But....this is a truck. Very FEW trucks have good reaview mirror clarity. Thats why you have two side-views instead of only one. I have never been happier with a car in my life! This thing goes through anything.....snow, mud, rain, you name it. And then begs for more. Similar Products Used: Nothing comes close. In the forseeable future....nothing ever will. Its the ONLY vehicle to put the SPORT in SUV. |

Weakness:
You name it Very small, agile, but can't see out the back at all, very poorly designed. Not really capable of offroading, it's an SUV Skin on a car frame. Similar Products Used: Nothing like it, most small SUV's are imitations, not really SUV's, just for people to go to the grocery store. |

MECHANICAL NIGHTMARE....This thing has been in the shop more days than it has been on the road...everything form engine to brakes to rattles to electrical. It seems this suv is straight from Murphy's Law....What can go wrong.....DID Thought the vehicle looked good when I bought it......kicking myself for not doing more research before the purchase... Similar Products Used: Chevy Tahoe, Jeep Wrangler, Ford Ranger, Dodge Power Wagon (OLD). With all of the problems normally associated with 4wd vehicles, this is the first one that I've owned that has given me any problems. |

Ride quality, Handling, Acceleration, Interior amenities and or course lets not forget looks. I am sure reliability would be on this list if my car was more than 3 months old.
Weakness:
Limited visibility through rear window which is easily adjusted to within the first 2 weeks. Rear seat accessability, but who wants a car load of people anyway. So far I have had no problems other than just getting used to such a one of a kind vehicle with one of a kind quirks. The handling on road especially on the interstates is impressive with all the power and handling to get you to your destination on time and in one piece. I would love to comment on its off-road prowess but so far have been unable to find a suitable location. Having been the owner of SUV's for the past 7 years there were no suprises with gas mileage, ride quality, etc... which is were most complaints I hear stem from. I actually believe that this SUV actually has better ride, handling, and performance than any other I have owned foriegn or domestic. For the price it is the most unique and competent vehicle on the market. Similar Products Used: I have owned Toyota 4Runners, Isuzu Amigos, Ford Broncos, Toyota Pickups, Ford Pickups, and nothing comes close to this as an all around great vehicle. |

Strength:
Awesome handling, power, and looks that will earn you envious stares every time you drive it. There is no suv out there that can look as good inside and out, and performs on and off road as this one does.
Weakness:
rear seat access is very difficult (once you get there it's roomy), no way to open the rear cargo door from the inside, my square cup holder need a square cup ( I did find a square water bottle that fits perfectly!) My VX has been to the race track and off-roading/rock crawling. It has all been said in previous posts here....This suv was made with pride in quality and craftsmanship with our satisfaction in mind. Similar Products Used: I have driven everything from an Explorer, Montero, Land Rover, Lexus, to and 68 GTO and VX Karmann Ghia. This VX smokes them all.... well except maybe for the GTO. |

Strength:
Suspension is the best I've driven for "sportscar like" road handleing (firm) and true offroad abilities.
Weakness:
Rear visibility Used as a daily driver. I'm always still looking for a reason to go drive it. Took it to Moab, Utah and ran it on 3+ trails to verify offroad abilities. It does as well as most semimodified vehicles. A VX with only a lift and 31" tires is used by a trail leader to LEAD several Easter Jeep Safari trails. Similar Products Used: 89' Dodge Raider, 95' LR Discovery, 99'Montero. The VX is more an offrosd sportscar. The fun to drive quotent is the best of any other car I've had. |

Styling. A unique vehicle, it will daily have people staring and pointing. NOT for those in the Witness Relocation Program.
Weakness:
Limited visibility through rear window.....not a problem if one is accustomed to the proper use of left and right side mirrors. This infectious vehicle will steal your heart! Think of a Hummers' much better-looking little sister....stir in the drive and handling of a fine two-seat roadster... and then add a fifth of your best 25-year old single-malt .....you'll get VehiCROSS. Similar Products Used: This is a top-drawer vehicle in a class all by itself. |

Style, Handling, brakes, style, seats, exclusivity, 18" chrome wheels, style, Torque on demand, not a clone of any other vehicle on the road.
Weakness:
rear visibility, rear seat access, could use some temp. and oil press. gauges To sum it up quick - whenever I'm not driving it, I look foward to the next time I have to go somewhere. It handles, it brakes, it goes over whatever you choose to drive over, and comes back for more. When it storms here, there is no vehicle I would rather be in. I went from a high-end luxury marque to a SPORT utility (really the only SPORT utility out there) and couldn't be happier. Drive one and you'll understand. Similar Products Used: sorry - nothing similar for comparison |
