Strength:
The 4X4 system and off road abilites. The I6 4.0 enginge is bullet proof!
Weakness:
lack of head rest on rear seat. I have always liked the XJ body style and I love my 89 XJ it is great off road! The XJ is the unsung hero of the automotive world and DC has made a very big mistake in stopping production of this vehicle. I never want to drive anything else, I just love driving this jeep and I look for reasons to engauge 4 wheel drive. The jeep is what people that have class and style drive. The XJ is better than a SUV, it's a jeep! everything about the vehicle says rugged go anywhere and brag about the fun you had. The vehicle represents my personality in every way. Strength:
Because it's off-road strength makes it a great vehicle to drive on road.
Weakness:
None Best for on and off road. This in not a wanna-be like most other 'SUV's'. Even if you're not planning to take your SUV off road, the fact that the chereokee can make's it much better when you come upon an obsticle. Where others will leave you stuck, the cherokee will get you through. Similar Products Used: None |

Grand Cherokee 4X4
Strength:
Performance on and off road, gas mileage, cargo space, ease of maintenance
Weakness:
NONE Best 4X4 for the price and size. It has always gotten me and family home! The gas mileage is 18 city/22 highway, engine and tranny have over 153,000 original miles and it keeps going and goin and going! Interior fits me with headroom to spare(I'm 6'3") and has the best ride thanks to its four coil suspension. Similar Products Used: None |

Strength:
Off-road ability
Weakness:
Paint is fading, but nothing a Maaco special can't fix. I love my jeep. I've had no problems with it since the day I got it. There's over 192k miles on it and it's still going strong. It handles better than a lot of cars I've driven. I'm never getting rid of it! Similar Products Used: It can't be compared to anything! |

Strength:
Every sq. inch of it the 4x4 is the best. It can go any where that you want and the engine is unstopable. The 4.0l will go 300,000 miles with no problem. and the storage space is great and the leg room in the back is very good.
Weakness:
Diamler Chrysler stopped making them as of this year. Don't know a good thing when they see it. there are no weekness with this truck. I've only had to fix one leaky hose. after 90,000 miles This is the greatest vehicle ever made. It can be used for any thing and look good doing it my Wife loves it the kids love it and the dog really loves it. For a vehicle that can do any thing and go any where this is what you should get. Similar Products Used: Another Cherokee, Grand Wagoneer, Wrangler, 2 Rangers, Isuzu trooper, and a Geo Prizm. The cherokee is the best and most versitale SUV ever made. |

Strength:
Easy to own and operate, a TRUE 4x4 performer, not a pretender, rugged.
Weakness:
closed cooling system hard to maintain (but easily converted to newer style), rear drum brakes, wacky-sized oil filter mount (again easily converted to newer style), average paint quality The classic Jeep 6 cylinder combined with solid axles, a bulletproof automatic and room for a family. Solid, reliable, capable on AND off road. Similar Products Used: Beats all similar products in functionality, classic style, and adaptability to serious off-roading. |

Strength:
Dependable, good acceleration for a suv, can tow just about anything, fun to drive
Weakness:
none so far, i have heard the four cylinder/base models are pathetic Its been great, never had any major problems. Have 190k miles on the engine and its still running strong. I would get it for either commuting, towing, or off roading. Its compact, great gas milage, and super dependable. Similar Products Used: 2000 excursion... AVOID THIS ONE unless you need to tow a house. |
