Dodge Dakota
Strength:
Rdie is ecellent, power is ample.
Weakness:
Gas mileage not good(16mpg), when in over-drive, it wants to shift out of overdrive with the slightest call for more power This is one of the best trucks I have ever owned. I now have over 6000 miles on this vehicle, with not a minutes worth of trouble. It is an extended cab, automatic, and v-6. I would defintely buy another one. Well made, much better than earlier models. Similar Products Used: Ford Ranger, Early F100 Pick Up |

Strength:
Great power even after 109,000 miles. Small fixable mechanical problems (i.e. water pump, starter, a/c).
Weakness:
Bad gas mileage (averaging 16). Cataylic converter went bad shortly after warranty was up. Bought my Dakota in Nov. of 95 brand new, and it is awesome!! It has the 3.9 V6, it has 109,000 miles on it, and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. I'll give it up for a new R/T when the motor blows someday. Similar Products Used: Chevy Silverado |

haven't come across any yet and if i do it's a vehicle, whining won't fix it you have to. i love this truck it took me two years of searching to find it but it was well worth it. with the stage 2 jett chip, cold air intake, colder thermostat, and flowmaster's american thunder 3 in. exhaust all the way back. with these modifacations this truck will do donuts on dry pavement and set off car alarms as you drive by with the exhaust, the only other vehicle that i have been able to do that with is my cammed 304 in my jeep cj7 if you get the chance to buy a dakota do not let it pass by you won't regret it thanks have fun in your dodge Similar Products Used: toyota (junk) ford (i wish this thing could record my laughter) i had a 93 dakota v-6 5 speed (sweet truck fun to drive) |

DEALER SERVICE cheap accent paint on bumpers blind spots from large windshield pillars I have had my Dodge for almost 5 years now. It was my first new vehicle, so I baby it. Had to switch out the factory battery after 2 years, it died on Thanksgiving morning. Two months later the temp. sending unit went bad, 3 trips to dealer until fixed. Had some body work done around the window sills at 20K miles, the rubber was peeling off. A total of 3 trips to dealer to correct. Biggest complaint was after two brake changes I discovered the front calipers had cracked pistons. I was able to get re-built ones for $50 a piece. I now have 43K on it and the front bumper has started to rust. No doubt a product of the salty winters in Pittsburgh, PA. It has begun to stall at odd times, I thought a tune up would help, but no luck. Maybe the automatic choke is sticking. I have used this truck for hauling a great deal of things, dirt, slag, friends furiture, and it has always proved itself. I would buy another. Similar Products Used: This is my first pickup |

Tons of power with the 5.2L V8. Comfortable interior. Fun to drive. Looks Great!
Weakness:
Gas mileage is a little low, but it's not too bad Great truck, I love it. Have had no major problems with this truck and it is a blast to drive. The big 5.2L V8 has plenty of power to pull around all my toys. Although the gas mileage is a little weak, it's not too bad. Put in a nice stereo system, an exaust system, tint the windows, and you've got a sweet truck. This is a great truck and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who's in the market for a compact pick-up. Similar Products Used: Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger, Chevy s10 ZR2 |
