Dakota Club Cab V6
Strength:
-Looks Good
Weakness:
-Cat. converter out at 35000 (warranty) The truck was great the 1st year, then things just seem to keep happening little by little. Still looks great but I would recommend buying an extended warranty and save time for waiting in the waiting room while it's being operated on. Similar Products Used: None |

Dakota 2x4 BASE
Strength:
The greatest most reliable V6 pickup ever owned. Has done everything we have asked it to. Has 90000 hard miles and still going strong. Carries loads of 500 to 2000 lbs daily.
Weakness:
without 4 wheel drive its worthless This is a hard working little truck. I would recommend it to anyone needing tough jobs done without wanting to pay lots of money and who just want a truck that will seemingly last forever. Similar Products Used: Durango |

Toyota Camry DX
Strength:
Dependable, smooth and quiet engine, low maintenance
Weakness:
Air conditioning broke down (after 10 years) I purchased this car in 1992 from Hertz for $10,500.00 which turned out to be the best buy I ever made. In the 8 years I've owned this car, all I've basically had to do was replace the battery, tires and tune it up. It now has 90,500 miles on it and still going strong. If you're looking for a reliable, low-maintenance, trouble free car I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend a Toyota Camry. Some say the Camry is boring to drive, but I call it comfortable. -Poor Mileage: 19-20miles/IMP.Gallon (hwy) Dealer sheet rated it at 26 -Now my Biggest Beef is with this truck as a 4X4. Now first understand that I have not done much 4X4 driving and when I have it has been quite easy... its a brand new 2000 after all. When I was out once the truck frame actually flexed enough that the box hit the back of the cab and chipped the paint and dented the cab!! Now I have a New truck with both sides of the cab chipped and dented. When I took it back to the dealer they were prepared to do approximately squat for me. They only spent a grand total of 5 minutes looking at the truck. They gave me the run around for 3 months then finally told me they "were not prepared to fix this problem" The dealer told me if I wanted to I could call the Chrysler 1-800 #, so I did and they told me that the decision was up to the dealers. They must have a policy to stonewall warrenty claims. I heard before that Chrysler warrenty was inadequate, this just proved it. With this kind of service from Chrysler I am not likely to buy annother. 4x4 ext cab v8 Sport
Strength:
The 4.7 has great power. I towed a 3500lb trailer about 350 miles and once on the highway, hardly knew it was there. Fun at stop lights with Hondas.
Weakness:
The blind spot on the driver's side. It's hard to see if someone's on a crosswalk. You have to put ventvisors on it, or you get soaked in the rain. These make the post even thicker. You really have to make sure there's nothing there. I think this is the nicest looking truck on the road. Plenty of power, though it'll never have enough. My buddies used to all be Chev guys. Since I got this truck, three of them have gotten rid of their chevs and bought Dodges. I think that says it all right there. Similar Products Used: Ford Ranger with the 4L V6. It simply doesn't compare at all. |

/Dakota Quad Cab
Strength:
Market Leader, Trend Maker. Look around and you will see who is leading and who is following. Powerful looks, incredible handling, unmatched acceleration (5.9 V8). Just the right size. Most options available of any compact truck (used the work compact with reservation because we know this is not a compact truck). Interior is very ergonomic, exterior is bold and exciting. Will out drive and handle any other truck on the market.
Weakness:
Lack of aftermarket parts for it. Pulls slightly to the right. Needs a better design fan shroud. High Texas temperatures (110 °) causes a slight rise in engine temp when in traffic. I paid driveout of 25,410 with every option except, power seats, rear sliding window. Similar Products Used: 90 Dodge Dakota |

Dakota Sport 3.9L V6 2WD Regular Cab
Strength:
Decent power. Small but not puny size. Rides well, handling is pretty sporty. Decent transmission.
Weakness:
Cheap interior, lacks power locks, windows. Poor intake design. Paid $6200. Has 75000 miles, great condition. Paint job is still great. Surprisingly nimble for its size, and has adequate power. I do not like the tiny little intake snorkel feeding the large air filter, and plan to get a K&N kit to replace it. Otherwise I am surprised at the quality and condition of the truck, even though it has as many miles as it does. Has a hard tonneau cover, which helps gas mileage and looks good. A great truck, even though I am not really a truck guy. Since I was told by my parents that I had to get a truck, this is the only one I would ever want. Similar Products Used: None |

Dakota 2wd LE
Strength:
well powered truck, no rips in seats and no cracks in dash. When i went to take a look at it I immediatley fell in love with it! It has at least a 3 inch exhaust tip on it which produces a low rumble, which i never thought would come from such a compact truck. Also it only has 115000 km on it which really surprised me for being a '92. I love the Dakota because it's not too big , which makes it easy to turn it into a beautiful looking street truck. Have added a K@N filter kit, fog lamps, front headlight covers(blackouts)and tailight covers, sweet looking ram decal and front window vents.
Weakness:
the only problem i have with this truck and this years model is the two tone paint scheme. it is an alright look but, a solid colorwould look more nice. very pleased with my Dakota, i think i love it more than my girlfriend!(HAHA) no major problems yet and hopefully none to come. for this being my first vehicle, i am very pleased with my purchuse I thank my lucky stars for owning such a dependable and and kick ass vehicle!
