Strength:

The seating capacity, the style, and the options available for a reasonable price. I'm 6'-2" and my test for trucks is that I have to be able to sit in the front seat and without moving the seat, get in the back seat. This truck has ample head and leg room in both front and back even for me.

Weakness:

The gas mileage is around 17/20, but that's typical for a truck of this size. The pickup bed is very short, but with the cab extender, it's good for most things.

This is a great vehicle! My wife and I fought over whether we should get an suv or a pickup and this vehicle is the perfect blend. We got the 4x2 and it's been great, especially on the Pittsburgh hills. I wouldn't recommend this for people who are using it professionally (hauling heavy loads all the time) but for the average American, this truck is perfectly suited. It allows for five adults to EASILY ride in comfort with bikes/camping gear/your pet dogs/whatever in the back. It will tow a trailer when you need it to. The V6 engine is better on gas mileage than a V8 would be. It's got high ground clearance and on top of everything else, it's stylish!!
As for problems, I haven't had any and I'm not too worried about them. If there were a problem, the dealership is right around the corner from my job - so I could just drop it off if I needed to.
Finally, we decided to lease the truck even though I was strongly against leasing. I never understood why people would lease unless they wanted to switch cars all the time. But with a set buyout price from the beginning, the lease just made sense. In fact, leasing and then financing the buyoff is saving me $200 of finance charges over the financed time period. Quite interesting....
Overall I think that this truck/suv was definitely a good buy. The looks and performace are great and most importantly, I can fit in the truck much better than I ever could in my Neon or Eclipse!!! It's nice to have a truck!

Jeep Grand Cherokee is more expensive and feels like your lost in it's oversized cabin. The Sport Trac is well arranged for the driver so that you don't have to stretch to reach anything. The Ford F-150 Supercrew is more expensive for the same type of features, although it is available in an 8 cyl engine. The GMC quad cab is also nice, but very expensive.

Strength:

Seating capacity, cargo bed 4X4. All the benefits of an SUV with the cargo capacity to suit most people.

Weakness:

gas mileage

Best all purpose vehicle I have ever driven. Just got back from the dirt roads of Maine, vehicle performed awesomely. Each day I love the truck more. Why didn't someone think of this sooner? This vehicle was designed with me in mind.

Nissan Frontier is to small.
S-10, Toyota Tacoma are trucks and ride handle as such.
Loved the Chevy Avalache but it is a full size TRUCK!
Toyota Tundra extended cab, who can sit in the rear seats? Reverse opening
(suicide) doors, give me a break!
