Strength:

Great power, well made, awesome sound, good slope on bass boost(bass stays tight).

Weakness:

Heats up,VERY power hungry, fan on bottom, no chassis fuse.

This thing slams!I compared it to a previously installed 1200w amp and gained 3dB!Very smooth sound and great build quality.I love the looks of this amp. This is a big power hungry amp.I put a 3 farad capacitor,4ga. power wires and 80 amp fuse on it and it ate the fuse.I switched to a 150 amp ANL system fuse and no more problems but if you own a car with a low output alternator(ie;Honda or other compact)you are going to have to upgrade your charge system to feed this thing the amperage it wants. This amp has the cooling fan mounted on the bottom so I had to fab some spacers to give it some air.It still heats up more than my Soundstream, but I"ve noticed that it runs cooler when I adjust the alternator's external voltage regulator to +14.5v.Like I said this thing likes lots of power, but it also puts out lots of power. This is the first amp I have tried on my JL W7 12" that really gave it the power it needed.
