Strength:

Ample power, good sound quality

Weakness:

Heavy (waaah)

After I installed two Coustic amps in my friend's car, I decided to pick up some for my money strapped self. A 481QE now runs my front and rear speakers. The amp is very underrated in terms of power. It seems like it pushes well over 100 watts per channel, instead of the conservative 4 X 60 watts RMS it's rated at. The amplifier is a tad bit bright though, which was easily toned down with my Audiocontrol EQS (my head unit is a high end Eclipse CD player). Overall, the soundquality is pretty good. For the money, this amp and the rest of the Coustic amplifier line can not be beat!
