Strength:

So much power for the price and so many ways to use it depending on your needs.

Weakness:

It is a bit on the large size and after about an hour of driving around in the summer it needs good ventilation. Otherwise it will shut down for about 5 minutes until it cools back off. Still great though

I've put this amp through everything from 3 - 15's to runnin 4 sets of components (currently). It pumps alot of power, enough to blow one of the 15's. Then after that I hooked it up to my infinity kappa and eclipse 6-1/2" components with seperate tweeters. It's runnin great at 2 ohm's stereo puttin out about twice what the speakers can handle, but the quality is amazing. I'm lookin to get another one to run my new 15's with instead of the lil amp I have now. I'll probably need a new alternator though to fill all that power draw!

Strength:

Strong, solid, and clean bass!!!!!!!!

Weakness:

This amp has a huge current draw.

I am using this amp to power 2-12"Orion Xtremes. Everything in the car vibrates, and rattles. For the price, you can't go wrong. Be sure to use 4guage wire, and a Cap, so this amp will operate better.

Gives off huge bass for 600 watts it has listed. the bass control swutch is awesome and I love this amp.

Weakness:

Gets hot when bumping for a while. Not too hot though.

I have the 601 running 2 12" MTX 6000 subs and these things get moving with this amp. I listen to alot of Three Six Mafia and it sounds awesome with this amp pushing the bass to the subs. I am getting rid of that system for a JL 12W7 and 1000/1 amp. I am selling that for $400 to some kid and I think that is a great deal. I suggest this amp for someone who wants great watts for a small price.

Strength:

Solid power! Clarity! And the most important, an insane cheap price for what you get, I would have expected to spend ATLEAST $600 for this amp after hearing it.

Weakness:

It could use gold plated terminals, and the RCA connections would be better placed on the other side of the amp. If you wanted to get even more picky, the size could be a little smaller.

I am running this amp with a 4ohm mono load from my (3) JL 12w3 D6s. I have 1/0 running back to a distro which runs a 4awg split the 600se. I am truly shocked with the power and clarity it puts out for the price and rated power. I have ran many different amps to the JLs and for the PRICE the 600se is close to the best. However, prior to the 600se I had a mmats d200HC setup at one point with the subs @ a 1ohm load, now that was just insane. I loved every second owning that amp. But back the 600se, I now recommend the use of the new coustic line in most of my installs. I have installed (1)160se to 1 JL 10w3 which put out some nice clean bass, and 2 400se setups, in each car the 400se was pushing 1 12w3 which is a real nice setup for the price. It prodvides deep powerfull bass while keeping a great deal of clarity. This is a fantastic buy for almost all applications. I would rate this a 5 out of 5 when factoring in the price.

You get some SERIOUS boom for your buck. Easy to install. Strong amplifier, no doubt. By far the single loudest amp I have boughten. This thing beats hard with no follies. To put it in simple terms "This amp is stupid loud!!!"

Weakness:

The only problem I have had with it was finding a place to mount it. Its simply huge. Oh, and you HAVE to run a 4 gauge power cable if you want it to perform well.

I have this huge amp hooked up to 2 12" MTX 8000 subwoofers, and they have never hit harder. Just to make an example, my friend has 2 15" MTX 6000's running off of an Alpine V-12 Expert and I can out-bump him by almost 7 dB! Yes, American designed amps are a little bit stronger than Japanese designed amps, but I didn't think this much stronger. What I liked most about this amp was the price. At only $399.99 it's almost a steal. If you want a Kicker or PPI amp that pushes that much wattage you better be ready to pay upwards of $800.00. Even though this amp is rated at a max output of 600 watts bridged, if you get the right amount of current running, it will push more than 1000 watts. Plus, all those watts are clean. You could strap on an model subwoofer that you wanted, and it still would not get hot. Even if you pushed it to its max, if it became to hot, it has its own sensor to automatically shut-off and wait until it has cooled down. Overall I am very pleased with the Coustic 600SE and will probably not get rid of it.

Strength:

They are powerful, efficient, sound great, and stay cool even after extended periods of time. These are for anyone who wants lots of clean power without paying for the brand name.

Weakness:

Haven't found any yet other than finding good places to mount them due to their rather large size.

I wasn't going to upgrade to these amps because i was running a little short on cash but my local stereo shop that i'm a regular customer at hooked me with these two for cheap, they are usually more like $430 each, but this amp is phat! I've got two 600SE's, one on each of my two 15" Rockford Fosgate HX2's. Wired to 2 ohms these amps could push nearly 1000w RMS to each of my subs. These amps powerfully drive my subs with loud, crisp bass which is what i like.

Similar Products Used:

I haven't seen anything in this price range that comes anywhere close to the power and clarity that these amps have. And lets be honest, these amps just plain look cool as hell, and they are yellow!

Strength:

The best quality is the wattage I say. I've always heard that amps usually sell for a dollar a watt. In this case you're the one that ends up owing. You get more watts for a buck!

Weakness:

The size is the only thing that I can consider as a weakness. But hey, if you want power you have to deal with the consequences right?

I honestly can say that Coustic has never been my preference at all. I always considered them to be cheap in quality. After owning this one I truly can say that you really get your money's worth. I hooked it up to a pair of 15" Kicker Comp VR's and it made them POUND!!!! Nice, clear, tight deep bass is what I got. I truly recommend this amp to anyone!

Similar Products Used:

I have used several other amps with my 15"s and they sounded pretty good but I still felt I wasn't really making them bump the way they were made to be. The bottom line is that you can't complain!
