Strength:

8K+@4ohm, 15+hp, most versital amp ever built, the crowd trips when they see it at shows, will actually play strong with minimal electrical upgrades...

Weakness:

huge as f@(l

the guy that wrote the other review is an idiot! jl amps are such garbage!!!!bp1200.1 dont get hot unless left in a car all day in the summer with the windows up!!! bp series amps are Crown too! I hit a 159.7db@ 33Hz(termlab) on music using two DD9515's in a 93 chevy ext cab blow thru. Import face off Thunder Valley Raceway Noble, OK. Sept. 2012

AAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYTHING!!!!!!! Too much Sound Pressure Level for sure!!!!!!!!!! I ask my self why JBL want to kill human ears? That's because there is no other louder clean better company than JBL.

Weakness:

This brutal thing will blow windows, bleed ears, water your eyes and will make you throw up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!loudest high quality amplifier ever (JL Audio, Kicker, Rockford Fosgate and the rest of the other cheap amps..........I have to say is that they are for small kids!!!!! louder than the most powerful amplifier for Professional Music Equipment like the famous CROWN itself!!!!!!!!

I honestly don't own this product. I just heard it once for the first time in JBL's 2003 Tour in Texas. I just couldn't believe the SPL and SQ this amp produced. It's probably not the best SQ amp because it was designed for SPL use only, if JBL and Crown would of put all the best lates technologies to this amp it might probably cost alot more than $6,000, and smoke out JL Audio and the rest of the car audio amplifier companies. To tell you the truth the most most most natural bass sound produced by and amp is JL Audio 500/1. JBL 1200.1 was also good. but just a little more SPL than JL but gets hotter than JL 500/1. To finish this thing up, one of the best car audio installers, Gary Briggs, cranked out with only one JBL A6000 a respective SPL of 177.6 (LEGAL SPL), and punched way louder with a 185.0 (ILLEGAL SPL). I thought this thing was gonna hit 198.9 or more but I remembered that the loudest sound that could produce "IN- LAND" is no more than 185db!!! So yeap I got a chance to hear one of the loudest thing on land which is earth. So if you hear people say that they have hit more than 185 or 190 or so forth, that's not true at all. JBL is the best Car Audio Company in more of SPL/SQ all put together which JL Audio is not as loud as JBL but JL Audio stays steady and clear when cranking sound systems over bunch of hours and that's because of the heat technologies, but that's just business of JBL. I don't know but JL Audio and JBL products are the best trusted confident audio companies to me. I can't imagine if JL AUDIO and JBL join forces, maaaan I would just expect the perfect products ever built in audio. Like for example JL Audio technologies featuring JBL's eXtreme massive of power!! which would result in the best of the nest ever built.
