Strength:

Extremely small, good for small vehicles not needing much audio. Doesn't even make a dent in your wallet.

Weakness:

Power. It creates decent quality at low volumes but when volume levels start rising, quality drops like a brick.

For a cheap, small amp being sold at places like Wal-Mart it's not bad...FOR WAL-MART. This is not an amp for anyone wanting high quality audio and/or high SPL numbers. It's a cheap little amp that can push a couple speakers with a little more power than a Head Unit. In car audio, you get what you pay for. In this case...not a whole lot.

Strength:

Top mount controls, 2 ohm stable, appearance (including light up logo)

Weakness:

Nothing really.

I've been running this amp hard for a year or two and this little guy runs as hard as he did when I bought him. For the price, this is the way to go. I've never had any troubles from it and it produces very good sound quality. I have it powering 2 pioneer 6x9's and 2 tweeters. The sound is really clean. This is the amp to buy if you are looking for around 150-160 watts rms.

Strength:

Cheap, and for good reason

Weakness:

hmm.......everything

Anybody dumb enough to purchase a Jensen car audio product should not be writing reviews. I've been into car audio seriosly for a while now and I can only come up with one strength: THEY ARE CHEAP! Does anybody know why they are cheap?.....That's right they suck! If you own a Jensen product and take yourself seriously then you should not be on this site, nor any car audio sight.

Strength:

Very strong for the price, Looks cool when powered, puts a new meaning to phase "Big things come in small packages".

Weakness:

Runs better without the bass boost

I bought this amp to push two Jenson 6x9's for better sound. The amp it very strong for only 200W Max with nice highs and awesome lows. When friends are in my car they ask me what kind of sub I have and their baffled when I tell them that I do not have any.

Strength:

Cool logo of course. Small size makes for easy hide.

Weakness:

None!

I have had this amp for almost two years and have had excellent results. It pushed two 200 Watt C/V dual voice coils. out of curiosity I hooked up a Rockford 200 wat amp to my box and it sounded like crap. So for the money Jensen is the way to go.

Good amp for the money. Didn''t burn a hole in my pocket for it. I''m using it on two Pioneer 400s 12"s in a bandpass box. Sounds nice at high levels, very little distortion.

Strength:

Neato colored logo, Decent sound at most reasonable volume ranges, somewhat powerful for its price. Heat dissapation, small size.

Weakness:

Small connectors make it hard to connect speaker wires easily. Some distortion at high volumes, low power output in stereo mode.

I really like this amp, Its fairly cheap but really puts out decent sound for the price. I have it running two JBL 10" subs in a giant bandpass box. Sound is great, even at high volumes I don't have any distortion problems. My friend whos running two JL 10's on a Rockford amp is impressed by the sound quality from such a cheap little amp. Perfect for those on a budget or using cheaper speakers.

Strength:

It is real cheap and sounds good. Especially for first system.

Weakness:

wish it could be 2 ohm stable in bridged mode

If this is your first system or don't have a lot of money JENSEN makes great amps. This was mine and I hooked this amp up to one pioneer 10" and ir sounds real good, better than I thought. The amp is 150watts into 4 ohms but my speaker is a dual 4 ohm voice coil speaker so it can only be wired in parallel which would make it 2 ohm, or series which would make it 8 ohms. This amp is only 2 ohm stable in stereo so I had to wire it series into 8 ohms. This means I have less than 150 watts goin to the speaker and it is still as loud as I wanted it. So if this is your first amp or don't have much money like me this amp could make your system real affordable.

Strength:

Great Price, Great for 1 Sub or 2 6x9's etc....

Weakness:

Plastic dorr vibrates, Nobs are on the loser side.

For the price this rocks. I push a new pioneer 600watt 12" Sub. This Jenson amp puts out about 133watts all the time and 200watts max. Sounds great but gets a little distorted at high levels. Nice asmp for the price. If you can aford a PPI amp or simular I would go with a better amp. if you dont wana burn a whole in your pocket, go with this. 1 sub it works great, not powerfull enough for 2 subs.
