Pumps for a little guy, sleak design, lots of different buttons for feedback.

Considering I got this amp for my old 10" pioneer sub then I upgraded to my 2 JL 12w6's and it still sounds good. Well, I highly recommend this amp.

never get a voltage drop as it powers any sub from 11 volts to 14.5 volts, always have 500 watts of power driving the sub

I''''ve originally had a Alpine MRV-T757 powering my JL Audio 12W3-D4 subwoofer, along with a Alpine CDA-7863 HU. For about 5-6 months, I wasn''''t happy with the subwoofer. Bass was weak and the sub control on HU was indistinguishable. I came back to the same guys, and upgraded to the JL Audio 250/1 amp. What a difference! Maybe the T757 was a lemon, but with the 250/1, everything I wanted out of my audio system came true. And no, I''''m not one of those people who want to be heard 3 miles away... one 12" sub with 6 OEM Civic speakers is doing just fine.

Like i said this amp is insane! No over-heating ever! Total control with eq settings. Clean power,and im talking clean...say good-bye to distortion! Also amazing cosmetics,compliments any installation.

The only weakness with this amp, has nothing to do with the amp. What im saying is simply this: if you own this amp or any JL amp, get a security system installed cause you''re gonna get jacked!

These amps are nothing short of amazing.I have four of them. Each of which are wired to one voice coil of my two JLaudio 15" w3-d4''s. Running 250watts RMS at 4 ohms to each voice coil.(The recommended power range for these subs). And let me tell you these babies slam. I give more props to the amp than the subs though. Almost every system ive had or installed has rocked JL subs, and sounded amazing both SQ wise and produces huge numbers in the Spl lanes. But by far the one i have now is just nutz! With these amps nothing else can come close as far as im concerned. And ive heard it all. These amps can make any sub sound amazing. The last time I had my system tested I slammed a 167.4 .... Nice! Clear as hell to. Deep, Smooth, but insane bass response. The perfect blend between SQ and Spl.

If you buy it at the retail price, which i did, it is very very pricey. Considering only 250-300 watts. If you have the money for it, its a nice choice

This is a great great amp. I believe that it is a little underrated (watt wise.) It hasnt ever gotten the least bit hot on me. It is powering 2 12" polk EX II.

First off JL audio makes incredible subs, so I started doing research on their amps. I LOVE this amp, if you are looking for a great quality amp, with decent power for a good price, look no further then this one. JL has carried over their incredible quality of their subs to their amps.
