bass boost , 2 ohms stable, ran cool, small 300 watt amp giving out 230 watts at 2 ohms Rms ... now a days hard to find an amp that will compare ... 2 get 230 what's Rms at min a 500 watt peak power amp

Weakness:

None

Great Mono amp- powered 2-300 watts Kenwood 10" speakers in a bandpass box @ 4ohms wired in parallel ... had so much bass I had to keep all the settings low on the amp with the bass boost off and on the center deck the bass is set at 0 and the mirrors are still shaking out of place in the car

This is really a very good amplifier...i am currently using 2 of these amps to power 2 clarion srw 3041 subwoofers..which are about 1000 watts in total...these amps are great, they hardly ever heat up and they make ur subs pound like krazy

I bought this amp to power 2 MTX Thunder6000 12" and it really hits...I am a basshead through and through and this amp sure suffices my needs. Kenwood really knows what's up!

Strength:

good to drive cheap subs in the right enclosure. Infrasonic filter.

Weakness:

Not enough power

I don''t know much about this amp but it doesn''t fill my needs for bass. I have it wired to a single 10 Sony. I gives good fill...that''s about it. I scraped my whole system to get a class D high current amp and decent subs.

Strength:

Eccellent sounding mono sub amp. I am using it to drive a MTX 10" Thunder6000 and this amp puts out more quality volume than I can handle. This amp

Weakness:

I found no weaknesses. It's was to set up, has 0db, 6db, and 12 db boost.
Sound is greath, and this amp runs pretty cool.

As stated above, I am very happy with this amp. The only problem is this is last years model. However, after using this Kenwood amp, I wouldn't hesitate to buy its new replacemeent model. It's geat, and has a great price too.

Excellent amp, I have it hooked up to two 8" JL W3 subs in my 98 GMC Sonoma and it puts off plenty of power. Dosent get very hot. And its stable down to 1.5 ohms. I paid 199.99 at hifibuys, and its been worth everypenny so far. Great price for what you get.

Well one thing for sure for the value of this amp it was worth every penny. I bought this amp after my old JBL amp and this one kicks its ass. I have run it for about a 12 hour period straight and no problems of overheating and that is pushing it the hardest it goes. Awsome amp.

Strength:

Simple setup, stable @ 2 ohm load, subsonic filter, speaker level and RCA capable, wide sensitivity range for preamp ins, inexpensive.

Weakness:

Sigma servo connection is annoying (feedback loop requires a second connection to speakers), probably not the best/most efficient amp in it's power range, may not be powerful enough with 4 ohm load.

This is a great amp for someone who wants decent sub amplification without breaking the bank. I'm using it to power a single Pioneer 12" DVC (2ohms) in my trunk. My review, therefore, is based on a 2ohm speaker load with the amp running at 230Wrms. I'm not a basshead, but I wanted to add the extra element to my music that only a subwoofer can provide. The budget amp/sub combo that I picked out does the trick for me. Highly recommended at this price point.
