Strength:

I have this amp pushing 1 infinity kappa 12.1
And it rocks hard at 4 ohms. My sub is 350 rms
Svc 4 ohms on a sealed rnclosure 1.25 ft with 50% polyfill. The sound quality is amazing. The amp
never gets hot and has never shut down on me.
I have the amp at full power. The fan is a big plus. Also the features. This amp is very versatile. You can run as a 2ch, 4 or 2 ohms stereo. Or as a 1ch mono at 4 ohms mono (400.1 rms) does slightly more. Always a plus. Great amp to push a single sub or components.

Weakness:

None that I can think of.

I have had this amp for a little over a year. People think I have two 12 in my trunk. The infinity kappa 12.1 gets the job done right paired up with this little beastie an amp. I have used lots of other quality brand amps such as alpine, jl, Sooundstream around the same range as this amp. This amp sounds just as good if not better. Pair it up with the right sub. You will not be dissapointed. I'm looking to find another one to power my other kappa 12.1 in my other car. Very happy with kenwood on this amp and the build quiality that was put in it.

Strength:

Cooling fan, does not dim headlights, never gets hot

Weakness:

amp power close to rca, but as long as you get good rca's there is no worries

I am powering this amp with 2 infinity kappa 120.3 dvc's and this amp makes them thump like a mother! It never gets hot and I got a freaking steal on it from ebay, and the amp is practically brand new (the guy before used it for powering 2 5.25 speakers and it looks new). This amp is very clean and looks nice behind my seat. I would highly recommed this amp.

Strength:

Runs cool, looks awsome with the sliding door and blue neon, never cuts off.

Weakness:

Scratches easily, fan kinda loud when my music is low(guess that doesnt matter since my music is only low when cops drive bye)

I use this amp to run polk components that are in my front doors and it makes them scream. The power from this amp is nice and clean. It never runs hot(sweetass fan), and never cuts off. All around great amp.

Strength:

the cooling fan is good and the little cleaning cloth that came with it comes in handy too.

Weakness:

my sliding door panel will not slide automatically or manually and i'm a little mad about that since i've had it for only 4 months. I'm trying to figure out the problem.

This amp is pretty good. My speakers 2-12inch Cerwin-Vegas sound real good with this amp. I bought from my brother-in-law brand new still in the box. He paid $350 for it I think but then sold me the wiring kit and the amp for $350 which was a good deal considering that the amp and $70 wiring kit was never used.

Built in fan, high quality amp, good warranty, looks nice

I bought this amp at a great price to power my 12" Solobaric. I have it running at 2 ohms down one channel hitting probably 800 watts. I''m afraid to turn it up more than half way because i my hearing will leave me if i do.

Strength:

I have been able to run the amp 2ch, and finally get the mid bass that my Diamond Audio components allow

Weakness:

depending on where you buy the amp, the suggested retail is way too much for a 75X2 amp.

I have always loved kenwood products and finally decided to build and entire kenwood system. So far, I have had awesome sound quality, looks, and worry free. As you may know with kenwood, they have a great warrenty, as do many other companies, athough kenwood products help prevent damage such as built in fans ect.

Strength:

Slick design. Clean, undistorted power. Built in cooling fan

Weakness:

MSRP is a little pricey, especially for its power output

I have been looking for a good eXcelon amp to take advantage of my eXcelon reciever. I eventually found this thing on ebay for an incredible price. I must say, this is an incredible amp. It never gets hot because the cooling fan automatically turns on whenever it senses too much heat. With a compatible eXcelon reciever, you can also control the amp bass boost straight from the deck +6, +12db at the user-defined bass boost setting on the amp. It's a great feature, plus the fan cooling fan can be controlled from an excelon deck as well.
I have my amp dropped all the way down to 1ohm running 2 excelon db10 subs and all they do is pound!!!. I am a little worried about frying my amp if I run it too hard, so I haven't really pushed them too much, but so far, I am very happy with this amp. It comes with an infrasonic filter that zap s frequencies below 25hz(which you can't hear anyway) so more power is diverted to the audible frequencies. When the Low pass filter is switched on, a 6db bass boost is automatically activated.
I wouldn't recomend running it as a 2ch sub amp because then you won't get enough power (75w x 2 at 4 ohms). At 1 ohm, I have it pushing 600w x 1 RMS. It is 2 ohm stable as well, but I didn't do enough research when I hooked up my system, so I realized later that I was running it at 1 ohm.
Until I buy myself an MTX 1000d, This amp will have to do. But I must say, this is my first amp, and I love the features and the build quality Kenwood has put into their excelon amps.

Strength:

I have it powering 2 JL 12W4's and all they do is slam. It never shuts down from heat because cooling fan automatically turns on when the power slide opens which opens automatically also.

Weakness:

So far I have only good things to say about this amp.

I paid $399 for it and i got it from Crutchfield. I didn't plan on paying that much for and amp for my subs, but so far it is well worth the price. It runs great with my subs and sounds unbelievable with my Infinity speakers which are powered by a Phoenix Gold Zx475ti. I Couldn't ask for much more!!
