Strength:

Rated power is close to accurate. Very reliable (no shutdown problems). Clean power and quite a bit of it. Can't beat the price!

Weakness:

Connections are more difficult than most amps. Crossovers only marginal. Big (but any 100x4 amp will be)

Let me start by saying I have been in the car stereo industry for over 10 years, so I have a lot of experience. I bought this amp for my wife to use as a 3 channel amp. The front two channels pushed Infinity Kappa 5.25" components while the back pushed a single Kicker Solobaric 15c (round, 8 ohm). The amp was very reliable and had pretty clean SQ. The 15, being 8 ohm was only getting about 200 watts, but it hit pretty well. The front stage was loud and clean. Not transparant like some great amps, but clean with little noticable distortion. I haven't seen a better amp at this price. I sold it to a friend when we changed my wifes setup and he had it pushing two Cerwin-Vega Vega 15's in a large ported box (in a CRX). It did well with that setup also. Very loud and low, actually made you feel sick.

poor power...

I orig. bought this amp for my 2 10" kicker comps. And it sounded like ass, but was better than my last amp. Now I have 2 10" audiobahn's awc10 's and it cant push them hard at all. And I cant run them cross over because the amp will turn off shortly after it turns on. Maybe it has something to do with the resistance on the speakers??? Anyways Im not satisfied with it at all.

Strength:

its powerful

Weakness:

it looks dodgy

im very pleased with this amp, its powering my kicker impulse splits and pioneer 6 by 9s at the back with more power to spare i once connected it to my 2 kicker comp vr subs too, they were pounding. one thing i can tell, is that the lanzar vibe 430 is STRONGER then the kicker 300.4, that was a real panzy amp

Strength:

-clean power -200 wattsx4 -easy to use

Weakness:

-its a BIG amp 17 inches long and 10.5 wide so finding a spot for such an amp next to another 15 inch log amp is a challenge -i dont like the screw type connections to cheap. no problem with them but i would rather they use the hex nut design like on there 1200D models -the power and ground inlets are also the same cheap screw type would prefer an actual hole to use. but these are mostly preferances and not defects on the performance of the amp.

I have no complaints with this amp. i have a lanzar 1200d running my subs and this amp running a set of focal polykevlar 165K2's and some infinity 6x9's. The clarity in the focal set is amazing. Any imperfections in this amp would become apparent in these speakers. The crossovers are easy to use and efficient.

listened to orion and rockford similar amps on the focals in custom sounds and didnt like the way they made the speakers sound. this lanzar amp is much better

Strength:

Plenty of power for the price, and great looking too. The crossovers are convenient and the bass control is there if you want to use it.

Weakness:

I''ve noticed that some of the screws come loose, holding my wires on! Maybe if I glue them down?

There really isn''t anything bad I can say about this amp. It has plenty of power to run both of my Pioneer 10" impp''s and both of my Sony 12" Xplods... I''m not complaning. Of course once I buy the two Pioneer Premier 12''s I want to get, the truth will be known. Right now Low end crossover isn''t even close to being half way up, with the bass control on, and the High end is half way to full for my 10''s. I''m impressed to say the least.

Strength:

Largest of series and inexpensive

Weakness:

Not even close to it's rated power... I purchased the amp to drive some 6x9's and some Digital Designs 100W mid's... ended up bridging the outputs onto just the Digital Designs Mid's and it doesn't even have enough power to push them to their limits! with the mid's being 3ohms and bridged across the amplifier it should be putting out 400+ RMS x 2.... I would guess it to be more like 60W x 2(bridged) RMS My Pioneer GM-X942 is rated for 100x2 and it puts out WAY more power...

What's even more curious is the fact that the 100x2 pioneer has a 60AMP fuse and the Lanzar 110x4 has a 50AMP fuse...

Note: I also have a Lanzar OptiDrive 1000.1D and I'm very pleased with it

I guess for only $200 what can you expect? In the case of the Vibe 430 not much! I'll probably replace this amplifier with a SoundStream RUB604 rated at 80W x 4 ($450.00) and get something REAL

Strength:

POWER and a lot of it...are u kidding me?? for 170 shipped I CHALLENGE you to find a better amp for this money. Features, has crossovers on each pair of channels and also has lines out so you don't have to run 4 different rca lines to your trunk or hatch or whatever.

Weakness:

Seems to me that it's thermal protection is a little over reactive. I am running it pretty hard w/2 channels at 2 ohms and 2 channels bridged, but both gains are only about 1/2 or less and if I have it blasting, which is louder than a lot of people would be able to stand, it will shut down. But, simply powering off the head unit and powering back up will reset it. Besides, better safe than sorry.

You can power an entire system with this and I am certain that it will put out sound rivaling your fosgates, kickers, and comparable amps. I am running a 10" DVC sub off 2 channels bridged, a set of pioneer 6x8's and a set of polk 6.5 components (w/seperate tweeters). No one that hears it can believe the bass is just from a 10" mouted free-air in the rear deck. I have to believe this amp is unbeatable for the money. If you want opti-drive, or ppi sound but don't have the money for it, get a vibe, u won't be disappointed.

nothing really similar, I've had some "cheap" amps that have gotten me by, but it's not even fair to compare those to this

Strength:

Solid construction, very stable, never blown a fuse - or protected self.

Weakness:

Huge! Gets extremely hot in 2ohm stereo - tried the tri mode - not impressed - sound quality dropped.

I have had this amp for about 1 and a half years. It is powering 2 Orion dual voicecoil cobalt blue 12's in a sealed enclosure. It is running stereo briged @ 2 ohms. It has never clipped, protected itself, or even blown a fuse since day 1. It is the most rugged amp I have ever owned. Hard to set, but the variable crossover and baseboost have spoiled me.

I have owned many better known amps... But this amp is a keeper!

Strength:

Low cost/close to rated power
Lines out are nice

Weakness:

It's a mile long, don't think the x/o's are very accurate, you have to set them by what you hear more than by the #'s on the dial

I just wanted to follow up on this amp. I've had it for over 6 months now and I'm still very pleased. I've ordered a vibe 230 also. I'm sold on the fact that the Vibes are hard to beat for the money.
